01Istanbul - Baku
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in desk in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Baku on Turkish Airlines flight TK332 at 08:35. Arriving in Baku at 12:30 local time, our city tour begins with a vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Baku, the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, is located on the shores of the Caspian Sea and is notable for its rich history, impressive architecture, and modern structures. Our city tour will start with Baku Bay, Primorsky Boulevard, the Old City, Maiden Tower, and Upland Park, which offers stunning views of the Shirvanshahs Palace. Here, we will also visit the monument dedicated to Turkish soldiers who fell in battles for the liberation of Baku from occupiers, with the famous Flame Towers in the background for photo opportunities. Our next stop will be Baku Boulevard, a symbolic structure and a favorite location for walking among both locals and visitors.
02Baku
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Grand Modern Baku Tour for an additional cost of 40 USD. We will start the day with a panoramic drive through the White City, experiencing the modern atmosphere of Baku and its contemporary architecture. Our next stop will be the Military Trophy Park, dedicated to the country's history and patriotic spirit, where military trophies are displayed outdoors. After the boulevard, you will have the opportunity to shop during free time at one of Baku's best shopping centers, where you can find both international brands and local designer stores. Following the free time, we will take a photo break at the Heydar Aliyev Center, known for its modern and impressive architecture designed by the famous architect Zaha Hadid. The building was constructed to honor the life, political career, and role of Heydar Aliyev in Azerbaijan's history. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
03Baku
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Grand Gobustan Tour for an additional fee of 60 USD. Gobustan, located 64 kilometers southeast of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, is a historic area listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This archaeological site, which hosts over 6,000 petroglyphs (rock carvings), numerous ancient human settlements, residences, cemeteries, caves, and artifacts from various historical periods, holds great cultural significance. On our return journey, we will visit the Bibi-Heybat Mosque, built in 1267, and also have the opportunity to see the world's first mechanically drilled oil well, established in 1846, located in the Bibi-Heybat settlement. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
04Baku - Istanbul
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Grand Fire Temple Atesgah Tour for an additional cost of 55 USD. Atesgah is one of the three Zoroastrian temples in the world, considered sacred by various faiths such as Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, and Sikhism for centuries. The complex dates back to 1713, while the temple itself has existed since earlier times and has preserved its original structure to this day. Atesgah features a continuously burning fire, representing an eternal flame, which is maintained artificially today. After the tour, you will be transferred to the airport at the time determined by the guide. Following luggage and ticket procedures, you will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK341 at 17:45. Arrival in Istanbul is at 19:10 local time, marking the end of our tour.
