A boat tour at Niagara Falls takes you right to the base of the falls, into the churning water and mist. Thundering water, rising vapour and fine spray falling on you make the power of the falls felt directly. It is a close, full experience, very different from the view from the shore.
Assume you will get wet: wear quick-drying clothes, and bring a spare top and a waterproof cover for your camera. Non-slip shoes are good. Hold on to a rail when the deck is wet.
