Our stay at Ackselhaus was truly amazing. The apartment was spacious and perfect for four people. It had all the essentials, and the heaters (much needed in September) made us feel absolutely comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and helpful as well. Located in the Prenzlauer Berg district, just a 20-minute walk from Alexanderplatz (one of the main transport hubs with all connections).

What a wonderful place to stay! The apartment was lovely, and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. We took the night train to Berlin, and they had told us in advance that we could drop our luggage in the morning (which was already very much appreciated). But it got even better: they let us check into the room at 8 am. So we could take a shower and get some rest before discovering Berlin. And on our last day, we could let our trolleys in the room during the day. The rooms are very nice, the bed linnen and towels are clean and soft, the shampoo/soap is great (not the typical agressive soap you sometimes get in hotels, that makes your skin dry and itchy), the staff is very kind and helpful, the location is great,… Definitely a place to remember.
Excellent hotel for the price. The rooms are beautiful, full of light and uniquely decorated, the staff is very friendly. It's also a nice area with pretty quiet streets lined with trees, bistros and breweries. The metro/bus will take you to the city centre in 15min. There's also a welcoming cat at the reception!
