Traditional dance performance and Maasai cultural experience
Amboseli · Kenya
About this experience
In a Maasai village near Amboseli, the community welcomes visitors with song and the high-jumping dance the Maasai are known for. People wear red and blue cloth, and you can hear about the huts, herding life and everyday customs at close range.
Ask before taking photographs, as some community members may expect a small contribution in return. Closed shoes, a hat and a light scarf for dust are useful. Asking questions while you listen deepens the visit. If you are invited to join a dance, watch the movements first.
