Hampton Inn Suites Austin University

This Hampton Inn in Austin easily ranks the best Hampton Inn properties I have visited, largely due to the outstanding service provided by the front desk staff. Rose, in particular, was phenomenal. She seamlessly handled the check-in for a large wedding party and expertly managed the logistics of getting my family checked in under my reservation before I even arrived on site. Despite the high volume of guests, her professionalism and genuinely positive attitude never wavered. She consistently went out of her way to ensure guests were comfortable, from swiftly restocking towels at the pool to ensuring our parking was properly accounted for without any hassle. Beyond the stellar service, the property itself is excellent. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean and thoroughly maintained. The complimentary breakfast was consistently well-stocked with a great variety of fresh food, easily accommodating the morning rush. I highly recommend this location for anyone staying in the Austin area.

I’m never disappointed with Hampton Inn or any Hilton properties. This place in downtown Austin is beautiful! I was pleased with the variety of food for breakfast, the spacious double queen room, the clean and modern interior, and the service. When I arrived on 6/7/26 around 8:00 pm, my friend and I (along with her cat) traveled 900 miles over several days to get her moved here. The front desk folks made sure we had everything we needed and let us know we could check out later while my friend orchestrated the movers. And then, to top it all off, I called the front desk to inquire about utensils and they said they had done. When I got off the elevator, the gentleman from the front desk was waiting at the elevator and handed me the utensils and napkins for dinner. Thank you, Hilton Properties. Thank you to the folks who make this property run so well. And to the owner, you’ve got a great team. Please make sure they are financially, physically, and mentally taken care of. I’m sure there are some not great customers who make the job quite difficult.

Literally the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. This is my second time at this hotel, and I came back because not only are the rooms really nice, clean, and spacious, but the service is great. In particular, Aeon at the front desk is really attentive and caring, Rose (I think a manager) was so friendly and helpful during check out, and Polly (I think from the housekeeping staff) was incredible and made us feel so welcome each day of our stay. I really can’t say enough about how great this hotel has been. Can’t hear a single noise from the halls or neighboring rooms. Breakfast selections are plentiful and tasty. Location is convenient as well. Overall, if I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Thanks to the staff for making this such a fantastic stay for us, and I hope to be back next time I’m in the area!
