Stavanger | Lysefjord Boat Tour & Stavanger Walking Tour Our ship docks at Stavanger port in the morning. Guests who wish can join the "Lysefjord Boat Tour & Stavanger Walking Tour" organized by our guide for an extra fee. Once we arrive at Stavanger port, we will embark on a boat trip into the depths of the Lysefjord, approximately 42 km long, which will last about three hours, allowing us to see the region's most famous fjord and better appreciate this geography. We will see Pulpit Rock, a monolithic granite formation that rises 600 meters above the sea, the most striking point of Lysefjord. We will view this rock from below, at sea level, from our boat. Although the rock shows visible large cracks on three sides that seem like they could fall into the sea at any moment, it will likely take thousands of years for such an event to occur. Later, we will take a photo break at a magnificent waterfall that cascades into the high fjord, and you will have the opportunity to drink clean waterfall water offered by our guide. Throughout our pleasant sea journey, if luck is on our side, surprise animals may accompany us. We return to Stavanger with the stunning views of the fjord.

We start our city tour at the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, which welcomes visitors with a 500-meter walking path. During our walk along the path, you will enjoy pleasant moments with the sound of the wind rustling through the bamboo, and you will have the opportunity to take pictures of the forest. Next, we continue with our tour of Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple in northern Kyoto, whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf. Each level of this impressive structure, overlooking a large pond, represents a different architectural style.

Over time, the influence of the temple grew, and by the 8th century, it began to affect politics as well. The main hall of Todaiji has also made its mark in the record books as the largest wooden structure in the world. This massive building houses one of Japan's largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). Next, we visit Nara Park, a large park in the center of Nara. Established in 1880, the park is home to many of Nara's main attractions, including Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji, and the Nara National Museum. It is also home to hundreds of freely roaming deer. After having the chance to take photos with the wandering deer, we participate in a traditional Tea Ceremony. After experiencing the traditional Japanese tea preparation firsthand and sipping our tea, we enjoy some free time in the area before transferring back to our hotel for relaxation.
