01Istanbul - Tunis
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Tunis at 09:00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK661. Arriving in Tunis at 10:00 local time, our city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. We will visit Habib Bourguiba Boulevard, known as the "Champs Elysees Boulevard" of Tunis, Independence Square, the iconic Clock Tower, and St. Vincent de Paul Cathedral, the largest structure from the colonial period to the present day in Tunis. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel located in the Hammamet Region and enjoy some free time. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel in the Hammamet region.
02Tunis
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will join the tour "Historical Traces of Magnificent Tunisia" (Tunis & Carthage & Sidi Bou Said & Bardo Museum). Our tour begins in the city of Tunis. As the capital of the country, it serves as a political, commercial, and cultural center, allowing us to witness a blend of modern and ancient Tunisia. Next, we will head to Carthage, a UNESCO World Heritage Site founded by the Phoenicians and once a center of the Roman Empire in Africa. After a lunch break here, we will move on to Sidi Bou Said, the pearl of Tunis. Famous for its cobbled streets and blue-and-white houses, this charming town offers a photo stop with stunning Mediterranean views. Our final destination will be the Bardo Museum, one of the most important museums in the Mediterranean region. The museum hosts a rich marble collection featuring Roman gods and emperors, as well as the largest collection of Roman mosaics in the world. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel in the Hammamet region.
03Tunis
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a tour of the Magnificent Ancient Cities (Kairouan & El Djem & Sousse). Our tour begins in Kairouan, a sacred city that is considered one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture in the region and ranks fourth in importance for pilgrimage in Islam after Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem. Next, we will visit the impressive ruins of North Africa's largest coliseum in El Djem. After witnessing this remarkable structure, which once hosted 35,000 spectators for gladiator fights during the region's brightest period, we will proceed to Sousse, the country's third-largest city and a major tourism hub. Following a lunch break in this city, famous for its stunning views and the labyrinthine souks and ramparts of its medina, we will return to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel in the Hammamet region.
04Tunis - Istanbul
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will complete our check-out procedures. Then, we will depart for the airport at the time specified by our guide. Following luggage and ticket processes, we will board Turkish Airlines flight TK 664, departing for Istanbul at 18:20. We will arrive at 23:15 local time, marking the end of our tour.
