Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos Tour, 14 Days from Istanbul

We meet at Istanbul Airport at 11:30. Turkish Airlines' scheduled flight departs at 15:00 for Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's largest and most vibrant city, still widely known as Saigon. We land in Saigon at 02:55 local time. After passport and baggage formalities a private vehicle takes us into the city and to the hotel. After a short rest, lunch follows at a restaurant showcasing the local cuisine. In the afternoon a light walking tour takes in the elegant streets of Ho Chi Minh City's colonial era. A stroll around Dong Khoi Street and its surroundings offers a close look at the French-influenced architecture, with an optional coffee break by the Saigon River for those who wish. After breakfast at the hotel we begin a full-day tour of Ho Chi Minh City, the cultural heart of Vietnam. The morning is free in Siem Reap for rest or a short walk.
