Italy Tour

Meet at the SunExpress Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Milan on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ892 at 11:45. Upon arrival at 13:50 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In Milan, famous for its rich blend of historical and modern sights, we will visit some of the must-see attractions including the Duomo Cathedral, one of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in the world, La Scala, one of the oldest opera houses in the world, the stunning 19th-century arched shopping gallery Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and the impressive architecture of Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle). After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to participate can join the Magnificent Lakes (Como & Lugano) and Outlet Center Tour (75 Euro). Our first stop will be Como. Named after the famous Lake Como, this city is one of the unique attractions that receives visitors from all over the world due to its stunning natural beauty. In addition to its architectural splendor reflecting Gothic and Renaissance styles, Como is also known for the homes of globally renowned personalities such as Madonna and George Clooney. After our tour, we will head to our second destination, Lugano. Lake Lugano is a captivating lake located in southern Switzerland, nestled at the foot of the Alps. This lake beautifully combines the cultural and natural features of both Switzerland and Italy. After exploring this city, famous for its magnificent views and chic shopping streets, we will take a break for shopping at the outlet featuring world-renowned brands. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we set off towards Rome, the largest city and capital of the country. Upon our arrival, our city tour begins. This city, which has been the center of one of the greatest civilizations in history, has served as a hub of power, culture, and religion for approximately 2500 years. The historic center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rome boasts an extremely rich historical heritage and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, featuring magnificent palaces, ancient churches and basilicas, grand romantic ruins, impressive monuments, ornate sculptures, and elegant fountains. Among the highlights of our tour are the Vatican (St. Peter's Cathedral), the Colosseum where gladiator battles were held, the Roman Forum which was once the center for religious, political, and social activities, the Victor Emmanuel Monument (Vittoriano Emanuele), the famous Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna). Next, we will head to Nemi Village. Following this, we will head to the famous St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, you will have free time to visit the basilica and the square.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our guests have the option to join the extra tour of Magnificent Naples & Pompeii (110 Euro). Naples, an energetic port city in southern Italy, is filled with historical and cultural riches. Nestled on the Mediterranean coast and overshadowed by the stunning Vesuvius Volcano, it boasts a unique character with its vibrant markets, traditional pizza, and impressive historical ruins. Following our tour, we will head to Pompeii. Here, you will embark on a profound journey into the Ancient Roman era as you explore the archaeological site of this city, which was destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD and uncovered thousands of years later, revealing remarkably well-preserved remnants of homes and daily life. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Florence. Upon our arrival in Florence, the city where the Renaissance was born, our panoramic city tour will begin. During our city tour of Florence, a cultural, artistic, and architectural gem, we will visit the Duomo Church (Santa Maria Del Fiore), the Baptistery, the Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Montecatini.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can participate in the optional Extra Magnificent Tuscan Towns Tour (Pisa & Siena & Gimignano) for 110 Euro. Our first stop will be the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, famous for its tilted structure. After capturing stunning photos here, we will proceed to the city of Siena, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its narrow streets and stone buildings that transport visitors back to the Middle Ages, Siena stands as an elegant fortress in the heart of traditional Italian city life, featuring the historic Piazza del Campo and its impressive cathedral. The final stop of our tour will be San Gimignano, a town famous for its medieval stone towers that rise like a fairy tale in the heart of Tuscany. Known as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages," this remarkable settlement is recognized for its 14 tall towers, a result of the wealth and prestige struggles of city-states in the 14th century. With its narrow, labyrinthine streets and historic buildings, it vividly evokes the traces of the past.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Venice. On the way, we will have a city tour of Bologna. (The Bologna tour is included in the tour price.) Bologna is a historic settlement located in the region nestled between the Apennine Mountains in northern Italy, known for its cultural richness. During our city tour of this beautiful city, we will visit Piazza Maggiore Square, San Petronio Basilica, Podesta Palace, and the Town Hall. After our tour, we will continue our journey to Venice. A city that dances on water like a historical fairy tale, Venice enchants its visitors with its romance and mystery, wrapped in a labyrinth of canals and gondolas. During our city tour, we will see San Marco Cathedral and Square, the Doge's Palace, the Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge. At the end of the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Canal Gondola Tour for an extra fee of 40 Euro. This tour on traditional gondolas, one of the symbols of Venice, will give us the opportunity to see the canals of Venice. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and enjoy some free time. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport at a time determined by your guide. Following the luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, you will depart on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ891 at 17:40 to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Arrival is at 22:05 local time, marking the end of our tour.
