01Istanbul (Saw) - Catania
Meet in front of the Ajet counter in the international terminal of Sabiha Gökçen Airport 3 hours before departure. After baggage and ticket procedures, depart for Catania at 06.00 on Ajet Airlines special flight VF5547. Following our arrival at 06.40 local time, our Catania city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. During our city tour, Duomo Cathedral, Fontana dell'Elefante, Piazza Repubblica and Etna Street are among the sights we will see. After our tour, we provide free time. Then transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
02Catania - Cefalu - Palermo - Catania
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Cefalu & Palermo Tour. (100 Euro). Located on the northern coast of Sicily Island, Cefalu is a fascinating seaside town distinguished by its historic character and natural beauty. Its narrow cobblestone streets, colourful squares, golden sandy beaches and impressive views extending across the Mediterranean offer visitors unforgettable moments. The town's landmark, Cefalu Cathedral, stands out for its Norman-era architecture and magnificent Byzantine mosaics and is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After our tour, our next stop is Palermo, the capital of Sicily Island. During our tour of this city, which has hosted many civilisations, from the Phoenicians and Romans to the Arabs and Normans, Palermo Cathedral, Canti Square and Teatro Massimo (Opera House) are among the sights we will see. After our tour, transfer to our hotel in Catania. Overnight at the hotel.
03Catania - Siracusa - Noto - Catania
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Siracusa & Noto Tour. (75 Euro) Our first stop is Siracusa, with its unique historical heritage stretching from the ancient Greek era to the present day. Founded as a Greek colony in the 8. century BC, Siracusa was once one of the Mediterranean's most important centres of culture and commerce and is also known as the birthplace of the famous scientist Archimedes. The city's most impressive area is Ortiga Island, famous for its narrow stone streets, elegant squares and Baroque buildings. The ancient temple ruins, historic fountains and seaside walkways here give visitors the feeling of travelling through time. Following our tour here, our second stop will be Noto. Known as the "capital of Sicilian Baroque", Noto was rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1693 and acquired a unique appearance with its magnificent buildings made from golden limestone. The city's historic centre resembles an open-air museum with its impressive churches, aristocratic palaces, ornate balconies and broad squares. Noto Cathedral in particular is the symbol of the city with its magnificent staircase and Baroque details.
04Catania - Taormina - Savoca - Etna - Catania - Istanbul (Saw)
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Taormina & Savoca & Etna Tour. (75 Euro.) Our first stop will be Etna, Europe's highest active volcano. Starting from the foothills of Etna, we will experience lava flows thousands of years old, extinct craters and the unique scenery on the mountain's slopes. We will then proceed to Savoca, the authentic mountain village where time seems to have stood still and where Francis Ford Coppola's cult masterpiece The Godfather was filmed. We will have the opportunity to visit historic Bar Vitelli, where Michael Corleone asked for permission to marry in the film, and take a nostalgic walk through the streets around Saint Lucia Church, which bear traces of The Godfather. We will end the day in Taormina, the pearl of Sicily, magnificently situated above the Ionian Sea. You will enjoy an unforgettable Sicilian experience as we explore the Greek - Roman Ancient Theatre with its magnificent views, the stylish boutiques lining the lively historic streets, and Umberto Street with its delightful harbour views. After our tour, transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide.
