Spain and Andalusia Tour

Meeting at the AJet Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Ankara Esenboğa Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Madrid on AJet Airlines flight VF605 at 12:10. Upon arrival at 16:05 local time, our city tour of Madrid begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is one of the most visited cities in the country, known for its rich history and cultural wealth. During our city tour, we will first see the Bullring (from the outside), Alcala Gate, Independence Square, the Cibeles Fountain, the famous Grand Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the renowned Prado Museum (from the outside), the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza at Plaza de España, the Royal Palace (from the outside), the 9-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Sevilla. On the way, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Toledo Tour for an additional fee of 70 Euro. Located approximately 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a historic city protected by UNESCO, having hosted various cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, including Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is renowned for its magnificent architecture and cultural heritage from the Middle Ages. During our tour of this open-air museum, we will explore the historic narrow streets and see many wonders, including the oldest cathedral in Spain, Toledo Cathedral (from the outside), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and countless other marvels. After our tour, we will head to Ecija. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. Ecija is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain and is part of the province of Sevilla. Often referred to as the "Peacock of Andalusia" or the "City of Towers," Écija is known for its rich Baroque architecture and magnificent historical buildings.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Cities (Cordoba & Mijas & Malaga) for an extra fee of 140 Euro. Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures that bear the traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. After a journey of 1.5 hours, we will be greeted by the Guadalquivir River in Cordoba. We will walk over the historic Roman bridge and enter the city through the Roman gate. We will visit the most magnificent structure of this 2000-year-old city, the Great Mosque of Cordoba, which rises on 850 columns. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent work while receiving impressive information. After our tour of the Mosque, we will continue walking through the clean old streets, where we will see the old inn reflecting all the intricacies of Andalusian architecture and the houses of Cordoba. Following this tour, our second stop will be Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain village located in the province of Málaga in southern Spain, famous for its whitewashed houses.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for Granada. Upon our arrival, our city tour will begin. Granada is a city rich in history and culture, located in the heart of the Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations, welcoming millions of visitors each year. During our city tour, we will see Gran Via Avenue, BibRambla and the Town Squares, Granada Cathedral (from the outside), the first university of Granada, Madraza, the Silk Bazaar, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Alhambra Palace Tour (80 Euro). Please note that there is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our visit may be subject to availability, excluding the harem. It is important to inform your agent of your participation in this tour during the reservation process. The Alhambra Palace, one of Granada's greatest treasures, is one of the most stunning and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Valencia. Along the way, guests who wish can join the optional Grand City Tour of Alicante for an additional fee of 40 Euro. Alicante is a historic and touristic city located on the Mediterranean coast in southeastern Spain. It has been an important settlement since ancient times, first established by the Iberians and later conquered by the Carthaginians and Romans. Known as "Lucentum" during the Roman period, the area held great significance throughout the Middle Ages due to its strategic location. Under Arab rule in the 9th century, Alicante experienced significant cultural and economic development, leading to the construction of city walls and irrigation systems. The city was conquered by the Castilians in the 13th century, transitioning to Christian governance. Today, the most prominent historical symbol of Alicante is the Santa Bárbara Castle, built by the Arabs in the 9th century and later expanded by Christians. The Old Town area (El Barrio), surrounded by historical buildings, carries traces of the past with its narrow streets, churches, and traditional houses.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Barcelona. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and has gained worldwide fame as the vibrant and enchanting capital of the Catalonia region. Bathed in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its stunning architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors each year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudi. During our city tour, we will visit landmarks such as the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Cristof Colomb Statue, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Andalusia Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill tour for an extra fee of 30 Euro. We will start our tour by exploring Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village), which was built for the 1929 World Fair and has become a must-visit spot for those visiting Barcelona, featuring 117 buildings, streets, and squares.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional tour "The Magnificent Pearls of Northern Catalonia" (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum) for an extra cost of 70 Euro. Our first stop on the tour is Girona. Located in northeastern Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historic buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After our tour, we will head towards the city of Figueras. Figueres is located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established this museum to leave something behind in his birthplace and to showcase his works. Today, this museum houses the largest collection of Dali's works and is referred to as Dali's greatest masterpiece since he designed every part of it.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the airport at a time determined by the guide. Following luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will take Ajet Airlines flight VF608, departing at 14:20 to Ankara. We will arrive at 20:20 local time, marking the end of our tour.
