If you’re looking for a place that truly captures the spirit of Bruges, Dukes’ Palace is difficult to surpass. The building itself is a masterpiece of history and architecture. Originally built as the residence of the Dukes of Burgundy, this magnificent palace has been carefully transformed into one of the city’s finest luxury hotels while preserving its extraordinary historical character. Simply walking through its halls feels like stepping back several centuries. The hotel has won the architectural lottery. From the outside, it is breathtaking; from the inside, it offers everything you would expect from a true five-star property. Our room was spacious, immaculate, beautifully maintained, and the service was flawless from start to finish. One of the highlights is the large private inner courtyard with its beautiful garden terrace. It is an incredibly peaceful place to enjoy a coffee, read a book, or simply relax surrounded by greenery. In a city full of tourists, this quiet oasis feels truly special. What makes Dukes’ Palace luxurious isn’t flashy décor or excessive opulence. Its luxury comes from elegance, refinement, tranquility, and the timeless atmosphere of a historic European palace. It gives you the rare feeling that, for a moment, you’re living like royalty 👑 We recommend this hotel without hesitation. If it fits your budget, it is absolutely worth the experience. It is not just a hotel, it is part of Bruges’ history.❤️❤️❤️
Great hotel right in the center of Bruges, making it the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. The service was excellent, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of fresh and delicious options, and the rooms were clean and a decent size. The only minor issues we experienced were that the WiFi in our room (112) was very poor, and after opening the window, it was quite difficult to close again. Aside from these small inconveniences, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges.
Stayed at Hotel Dukes’ Palace and it was easily one of the highlights of our Bruges trip. The moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. The peaceful gardens are perfect for unwinding, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the restaurants are excellent. Despite being just a short walk from the heart of Bruges, the hotel feels quiet and relaxing. If I return to Bruges, I’d happily stay here again.
