Tour programme.
01Istanbul - Tirana - Vlora - Saranda
Meet at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Tirana on Turkish Airlines flight number … at 08:00. Arriving in Tirana at 08:45 local time, we will begin a panoramic city tour with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. During the tour, we will visit Skender Bey Square, Ethem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, the National History Museum, and the Parliament Building. After the city tour, we will head towards the Ionian Sea coast, famous for its turquoise waters. On the way, we will stop in Vlora, one of Albania's important coastal cities. In Vlora, known as the city where Albania declared its independence, we will have a panoramic city tour, including Independence Square, Flag Square, and the waterfront. After our visit to Vlora, we will proceed to Saranda, the jewel of the Albanian Riviera, renowned for its turquoise sea. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay in Saranda.
02Saranda - Porto Palermo - Dhërmi - Saranda
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional Gorkemli Porto Palermo - Dhërmi Tour for an extra fee of 80 Euro. Our journey along the Albanian Riviera begins with our first stop at Porto Palermo. Porto Palermo is a small yet impressive bay located between Himara and Dhërmi on the Albanian Riviera. It is famous for its turquoise sea and the historic castle on the peninsula. The most notable structure in the bay is Porto Palermo Castle, built by Ali Pasha Tepelena in the early 19th century. After the postcard-perfect views of the Porto Palermo Tour, our next stop is Dhërmi, one of the favorite coastal towns of the Ionian Sea. We will take a panoramic city tour of Dhërmi, known for its turquoise sea, white pebble beaches, and stone houses. After the tour, we will return to Saranda. Overnight stay at our hotel.
03Saranda - Ionian Sea - Ksamil Boat Tour
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our guests who wish to join can participate in the optional Magnificent Ionian Sea - Ksamil Boat Tour (90 Euro). We will set sail from Saranda port and embark on an unforgettable journey through the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea, famous for its turquoise color. Throughout the day, we will take swimming breaks at beautiful coves and have the opportunity to enjoy the sea in the deep blue waters. During our lunch break, we will have a pleasant meal accompanied by views of the sea while enjoying a city tour of Ksamil. Our boat tour will conclude with our return to Saranda. Overnight at our hotel.
04Saranda - Gjirokastër Tour
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join our optional Grand Gjirokastër Tour for an extra 70 Euro. Gjirokastër, known for its stone houses and historical texture, is one of the most impressive cities in the Balkans with its Ottoman-era architecture, and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During our city tour, we will visit Gjirokastër Castle, the historic bazaar, and the characteristic stone houses. After our visit to the castle, which offers a valley view from its high position, we will take a pleasant journey back in time as we walk through the narrow streets. After some free time, we will return to Saranda for an overnight stay at our hotel.
05Saranda - Divjaka - Karavasta National Park - Tirana - Istanbul
After breakfast and checking out of the rooms, we will depart from Saranda at 09:00. Leaving behind the shores of the Ionian Sea, we will begin our journey. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to join an optional extra tour of the Magnificent Divjaka-Karavasta National Park (40 Euro), which requires participation from the entire group. Divjaka-Karavasta National Park, one of Albania's most important natural areas, is located on the Adriatic coast and is home to the country's largest lagoon ecosystem. This national park is famous for its rich bird population and natural habitats. The Karavasta Lagoon is one of the most significant wetlands in the Balkans and hosts the rare Dalmatian pelican. We will take a short nature break to enjoy the lagoon views from wooden walking platforms and observation points. After spending days in the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea, we will have the chance to discover a different side of Albania. We will head to Tirana Airport at the time indicated by our guide. Following our arrival at the airport and completing our luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1078 at 19:50.
