Bosnia Tour

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After passport and check-in procedures, we will depart for Sarajevo on Turkish Airlines flight TK1021 at 14:50. Upon arrival at 14:40 local time, we will head to the city center of Sarajevo with our vehicle waiting at the airport. Sarajevo, the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, holds significant importance in the Balkans. The city is located at the crossroads of Roman Catholicism in the west, Eastern Orthodoxy in the east, and the Ottoman people in the south. Throughout history, it has been an example of civilizational conflict, while also serving as a beacon of hope for peace with its multiculturalism and tolerance. Known for its religious diversity, the city has been home to Muslims, Christians of various denominations, and Jews living together for centuries. The city reflects its rich historical diversity in its architecture, with some areas resembling a Central European city, while just a few streets away, one can encounter influences of Ottoman or Soviet-style socialist modernism.

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Magnificent Bosnian Heritage (Počitel & Blagaj & Mostar) tour. Our first stop will be Počitel, known as the Turkish Village, where we will explore its well-preserved historical architecture, including buildings from the 16th century Ottoman Period and Počitel Castle. Next, we will head to Blagaj. In this historic town, we will visit the Blagaj Tekke, built during the Ottoman Period as a dervish lodge, located by the Buna River and surrounded by high cliffs. During the free time provided by the Buna River, you can enjoy your lunch. After the break, we will take a short journey to Mostar. In this city, established around the Neretva River, we will embark on a walking tour, starting with the Mostar Bridge, a symbol of the city and a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. Although it was destroyed during the conflicts at the end of 1992, it was rebuilt in 2004 with significant contributions from the Republic of Turkey. Our tour will also include a visit to the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. After the tour, you will have some free time. At the designated time from our guide, we will transfer back to our hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we will depart for the Natural and Historical Glory Travnik tour. The city, known as the "City of Viziers" due to being the hometown of many viziers during the Ottoman Empire, dazzles with its historical texture, narrow streets from the Ottoman period, fountains, and stone houses. During our tour, we will visit Süleymaniye Mosque (Alaca Mosque) and Travnik Castle, which holds great significance for both Ottoman and Bosnian history. After the tour, you will have free time. At the time indicated by our guide, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at our hotel, enjoy some free time. Later, transfer to the airport at the time determined by your guide. After luggage and ticket procedures, depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1022 at 15:30. Arrival is at 19:30 local time, marking the end of our tour.
