Wyndham Garden Playa Del Carmen

Not worth the money not close to beach Rooms have mold Tv wasn’t working and honestly staff is half ass and rude!!!! Was scolded for using laundry room that had no signs on door and after I apologized for using and paid the money to use it which I think is so ridiculous in first place! ( ridiculous that u have to pay and reserve the washers to use! i was continually scrutinized and made to feel like I did something terribly wrong! When it was an honest mistake and I paid the fee anyway ! I don’t think I’ll ever recommend this place to anyone ever!!!!

We decided to take a Christmas vacation with location in Playa del Carmen since we wanted to travel to Xcaret, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen and surrounding areas (Xpu-Ha, Tulum which is closer option as well as Xel-ha) and the location did not disappoint. With a Chedraui (Mex Supermarket) located at a maximum of a 10min walk and Public Transportation avaible at this location you can pretty much go anywhere at a fraction of the cost. If this is what is what you're looking to save some money on stay & transportation. Rooms: #1 Issue is the pillows have lumps due to the amount of times the get washed and have lost their fluffness. #2 Issue is definitely the Shower curtains and hooks being bit rusted it tends to make you feel somewhat dirty when you're trying to do the complete opposite (clean). Aside from that the room AC as well as the room itself, are very complete. My Personal Experience for Transportation: ASK FOR DIEGO he is the coordinator in charge of group of taxis at this hotel. In my opinion, this is the way to go. The cost is definitely worth every peso invested for the service the guys provide. They WILL go above and beyond with professional and punctual service, no matter the date/time. If you're looking to get a Hotel, with a solid location at a 15-20 min walk to the Nearest Beach, nearest Ferry and begging of 5ª Avenida this is the place to be at. It comes at a reasonable price with good personnel and super solid Transportation Once you take a small walk down the street towards the general area, stop at COSVER Tours and ask for PEPE or DELIA they will make sure they get you the best price for every single tour they helped save thousands
