Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile

This hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful rooms, excellent amenities, and a fantastic downtown location. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. They use their own bedding line, and after spending all day exploring the city, it was the perfect place to relax and get a great night's sleep. The gym is on the smaller side, but it's well equipped with treadmills, free weights, and a space for stretching or floor exercises. The lobby is elegant and inviting, making it a great place to unwind or enjoy a meal or drink from the hotel's restaurant. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to Anthony at reception and Jacques (apologies if I've misspelled your name), who were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel felt luxurious and was well worth the price. One nice touch was having staff assist with our luggage upon arrival and departure. The only downside was the valet parking. At $50 per night, it is quite expensive, and since your vehicle is stored off-site, it's not easy to access if you forget something. You need to ask the valet staff to either retrieve the item for you or bring your vehicle back to the entrance. The location couldn't be better. It's within walking distance of shopping, countless restaurants, McGill University, and many of Montreal's main downtown streets. It's also just a short walk to the metro, making it quick and easy to reach Old Montreal, the Old Port, the Olympic Park, the Biodome, the Botanical Garden, and many other attractions. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily return.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile was truly excellent and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, the entire team was professional, courteous, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. A special thank you to Santiago, Hassan, and Najeeb, who provided outstanding service in the restaurant. They were attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to accommodate our halal meal requests. We also want to recognize Fillippe, our bellman, whose professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help made a lasting impression. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Superior Room on the 15th floor. The room was beautiful, impeccably clean, and offered spectacular views of both the city and the mountain. The hotel’s ambiance is elegant and welcoming, and its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Montreal. What impressed us most was the consistent professionalism of every staff member we encountered. Everyone was polite, accommodating, and genuinely focused on delivering exceptional hospitality. If there were two suggestions for an even better guest experience, they would be to consider offering a complimentary car wash for guests using valet parking, and to make some improvements to room service and housekeeping consistency. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. Thank you to the entire Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile team for making our visit so memorable.

We are so glad we picked Sofitel Montreal for our best friend's wedding! The food is excellent! They even knew we would be really busy on the day and sent food to our rooms so we wouldn't go hungry! The staff at Sofitel Montreal did everything they could to make our day perfect! We had a long list of small tasks for them and they executed each one! They set up our candy bar the way we asked, they got our table seating chart and actually cut the edges so it would fit into the frame we had. The most amazing thing about their service was, when at the end of the night, I went over to start packing things up, the staff told me to go back and enjoy my night. People may tell you that the venue is expensive, but you definitely get what you for and it ends up being worth every penny! Our wedding planner Maurice Gerardi from Omega Design Events he is an amazing event designer!! We sent him 1,000 emails with so many small requests and he was just on it! He even did research for us when we were looking for specific things for the wedding! On the day of, he got down and was running everywhere to make the day go smooth! He even helped the boys put on their boutonniere and fixed their pocket squares for them. He will 100% make your dream wedding come to life! Sofitel Montreal made every little detail go so smoothly! They did everything they could to make sure that the day was perfect!
