Le Calette N°5

The location and property are immaculate. You feel like you’re in the colonial times but with the modern cleanliness you’d want at a 5 star hotel. The rooms were very clean, best shower we’ve had in Sicily, the restaurant Cala Luna was the best meal we had in Sicily, and the reef club and coves are amazing places to relax all day and swim. If you come here you can easily spend 2-3 days at the property without leaving. However if you want to leave the town is a 25 min walk along the coast. I highly recommend this place. The breakfast crew was amazing, the dinner staff were attentive. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

Staying at Le Calette made me regret not spending more time in Cefalù. I only planned one night there and I was able to arrive early and depart late, so I could maximize my time there. If you want serious relaxation with easy beach and pool options, stay here. I booked a Superior Room with a partial sea view. While I didn’t have much of a view, I didn’t mind as the terrace area was more private with greenery compared to other rooms. The reef club is a short walk down hill from the main building and definitely worth it. It’s a beautiful beach deck with a ladder going into refreshing (cold) clear water. I didn’t put on water shoes as I wasn’t standing on rocks but treading and floating. I’m also afraid of seeing fish, but this area was perfect to cool off and enjoy. Beach club service was a little slow, but a good reminder I’m not in a rush. The pool was steps away from my room which made quick dips easy. And I liked the shallow area where I could lay out in the water. Added bonus was the ability to use the gym showers to freshen up after checking out. I would definitely go here again - and for a longer stay.

Our wedding at Le Calette in Cefalù was truly beyond our dreams. From the very beginning, Eleonora and Carmela were absolutely wonderful. Their communication was always prompt, professional, and incredibly kind. Every question we had was answered, and they made the entire planning process feel effortless, even from abroad. The entire Le Calette team exceeded every expectation. They surprised us with an incredible complimentary bridal suite, which made our wedding day even more special. The hotel itself is breathtaking, and every detail was beautifully taken care of. The food was simply outstanding. Our guests are still talking about the incredible variety of dishes, the amazing desserts, and especially our wedding cake, which was honestly the best cake we have ever tasted. Most importantly, everything they promised was delivered—and much more. There were no unexpected charges or unpleasant surprises, only professionalism, generosity, and genuine hospitality. Whatever we asked for, they made it happen in the best possible way. Our guests absolutely loved every moment, and so did we. Choosing Le Calette for our wedding was one of the best decisions we have ever made. If you are considering getting married in Sicily, we cannot recommend Le Calette highly enough.
