We were so pleased with our accommodations at the JW. The lobby smells amazing with the location allowing you to see central park from a great view. The rooms are spacious and clean. The execute lounge is relaxing and has great food options all day long. The staff is remarkable! So friendly and professional and attentive. Every single person I came in contact with. The bellman Steward, front desk Anna, Clinton housekeeping, Daphney guest relations, and executive lounge Al, Guilette, Robert, Omar and Eliana! We were treated like family. We thank you so much for your unforgettable hospitality.

Our stay at JW Marriott Essex House New York was truly wonderful, and we left with such positive memories of both the hotel and the exceptional people who made our visit so special. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of, and our entire experience exceeded expectations. One of the highlights of this hotel is its outstanding location. Being situated right next to Central Park is simply incredible and makes it a perfect choice for anyone visiting New York City. It was such a pleasure to step outside and immediately be so close to one of the city’s most iconic and beautiful landmarks. The location also made it easy for us to enjoy the surrounding area and explore the city comfortably. We would especially like to recognize Mrs. Yamira at the front desk, who made a fantastic first impression and set the tone for our stay. She assisted us with a smooth and efficient check-in and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made us feel comfortable and informed right away. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were truly appreciated. She did such an amazing job that we were inspired to make another booking for next year immediately, which says a lot about how positive our experience was from the very beginning. Our room with two beds was another pleasant surprise. It was relatively spacious by New York standards, very clean, and comfortable throughout our stay. After busy days in the city, it was wonderful to return to a room that felt relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast at the hotel was also a standout part of our experience. The à la carte breakfast was outstanding, with delicious food and excellent service that made each morning feel special. We would like to thank Daniella and John in particular for making our breakfasts unforgettable. Their friendly and attentive service added such a warm and personal touch, and they truly helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at JW Marriott Essex House New York. Between the unbeatable location, comfortable accommodations, excellent breakfast, and above all the remarkable service from Mrs. Yamira, this hotel left a lasting impression on us. We are already looking forward to returning and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in New York City.

Great central location, outdated rooms. Basic rooms are new york sized but feel dated. could use a carpet refresh. Service wise in the executive lounges is subpar. Never been to one that asked me to self serve. (not an expected behavior but was asking for where the hot tea is and the staff just pointed and directed at vaguely to a counter without walking over to it to show where it is.) in hospitality I would say; at the very least walk over and gesture to where it is and offer to help. Gym itself is also outdated and smaller side. nice that It has a sauna and steam room in locker rooms though. executive lounge itself overall is a nice vibe. not worth the ticket of $800--1200/ for standard room. have come across more helpful staff in a 3-4 star hotel for fraction of price. prob my most disappointing stay.
