The hotel is centrally located and it is basically easy to get anywhere from here. Do note that if you are not used to Indonesia’s means of public transportation, it is much easier to grab a taxi anywhere as it is relatively cheap and more convenient. This hotel provides free basement parking for those who drives. The location is on the right of the main one way road. As a 4 star hotel, it has a rather spacious lobby and waiting area. I would say the facilities are rather standard and expected of a 4 star establishment. However the staffs are exceptionally good and very accommodating. They will go out of their way to assist their guests. The breakfast spread is surprisingly good with many types of dishes available. The taste is also good and caters to both locals and foreigners. I had a miscommunication issue about breakfast that they got wrong and the hotel compensated me with a fully paid dinner that was surprisingly delicious and pleasant. Honestly they do not have to go to such length but in doing so, they have shown exemplary client relations. A recommended hotel if you happen to be in town.

I don’t believe I have much to share, as everything is simply wonderful. The food is fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices. You can even request bacon if you desire it. The room is cozy and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The indoor air conditioning is refreshingly cold, which is perfect for those who prefer a cooler environment. The Wi-Fi speed is satisfactory, allowing for smooth browsing and streaming. However, the parking area is a bit tight, which might be a bit challenging for larger vehicles.

The staff at the hotel are absolutely fabulous and truly one of its strongest assets. Throughout our stay, the team were warm, attentive, and consistently helpful — they really deserve recognition. This Artotel feels quite different from my previous stays at its lower-starred sister Artotel properties. Those hotels had a smaller, more intimate 'artsy' feel with a relaxed, less pretentious vibe that I personally preferred. This property appears to be positioning itself as a more traditional five-star hotel, which is perfectly reasonable, but in doing so it loses some of the “small is beautiful” charm and distinctive personality that I’ve enjoyed at the other Artotels. The room was comparatively spacious and well maintained, and cleanliness throughout the hotel was very good. However, due to the internal adjoining door, I was able to hear much of the conversation from the neighbouring room, which did impact the overall comfort of the stay. Breakfast was generally lacklustre for a five-star hotel. While the selection was adequate, it did not feel especially distinctive or elevated - certainly not international. On the second breakfast visit, the experience was disappointing — the coffees we ordered never arrived, and after waiting, we chose to have something very small and then go elsewhere for a breakfast we could truly enjoy. It felt easier to do that than continue waiting and not really enjoying the breakfast experience. Overall, an enjoyable stay with room to refine the five-star experience.
