ANA Crowne Plaza Kanazawa

Two amazing points I want to highlight about Crowne Plaza Kanazawa: Firstly, Noriko-san from the front desk! We really cannot thank her enough for helping to get my husband’s wallet back. He had accidentally left it behind on the limited express train we took to Kanazawa, and it ended up far away at a terminal station in another prefecture. Noriko-san was incredibly helpful and efficient - she made several phone calls back and forth to first contact the JR Lost and Found and locate the wallet, and then coordinated with them and our next hotel to arrange for the wallet to be delivered there. The wallet not only contained expensive train tickets but also precious photos and memories inside, so we were incredibly relieved to get it back. Another thing that stood out for me at this hotel was their delicious breakfast buffet. It came with 10 specially curated signature dishes exclusive to Kanazawa. My favourite was their “15 Ultimate Bread Toppings”, which included unique, flavourful spreads such as seaweed mascarpone, salmon cream and mushroom butter. Overall, our stay here was definitely a delightful and enjoyable one. Location was great given the close proximity to the train station, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again.

Perfect for families with young children. The hotel is dated but it’s well maintained and spotless. Rooms are spacious in Japanese standards and beds were comfortable. We highly appreciate the hotel cleanliness. My 5 year old has mild dust mite allergy and normally reacts to hotel bedding but has no problem sleeping in their bedding three nights consecutively. They had an underground parking lot where we can reach our car by lift straight from our floor. The service is superb and the location was perfect. We would love to stay in the hotel again.
