Morocco Sahara Desert Camp Tour

ISTANBUL - MARRAKECH We meet at Istanbul New Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After check-in, baggage drop and boarding procedures, we board our Turkish Airlines scheduled flight to Marrakech (Marrakech). Upon arrival at the airport, we transfer to our private coach and set off for the Marrakech (Marrakech) city tour. We will see the Koutubia Minaret and Jmaa el Fna Square, Africa's largest square, where all the colours of Africa come together with street performances, snake charmers and open-air restaurants. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel in Marrakech (Marrakech) and have free time. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

MARRAKESH - ESSAOUIRA - MARRAKESH After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our optional extra Essaouira and Atlantic Ocean tour (75 Euro) for our guests who wish to join. In this region, where Morocco's Argan trees are most densely found, we first visit the Argan Oil Cooperative and receive information about Argan Oil. Then we reach the city of Essaouira, located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a world-famous old Portuguese city that reminds us of old Bodrum. Declared a "World Heritage" site by UNESCO, the city is a fishing port on the Atlantic Ocean coast and a coastal town where art and culture intertwine, and it has served as a location for numerous films and shows such as Orson Welles' Othello and the popular recent TV series Game of Thrones. Among the places to see are the city's fortress, the fishing port, and the Medina, which was built inspired by old Roman cities. You can explore the city among the narrow, labyrinth-like streets that you will never tire of wandering, and enjoy pleasant shopping. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Marrakesh and free time to rest. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

MARRAKESH - MAJORELLE GARDEN - FILM STUDIOS - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the optional/extra Yves Saint Laurent's Mysterious Treasure Majorelle Garden tour (70 Euro), available for guests who wish to join. We visit the Majorelle Garden, one of the most beautiful spots in Marrakesh. The garden was founded by French furniture designer and painter Jacques Majorelle and brought to its present form by the famous fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. Following our tour of the Majorelle Garden, we set out on the road to Ouarzazate. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, we set off for the optional/extra Hollywood (Atlas) Film Studios (30 Euro). The stunning Ait Benhaddou and the Hollywood film studios are among the places we will see; the studios have served as a set for many Hollywood films such as Babel, Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander, as well as for the recent television phenomenon Game of Thrones. After our tour, we transfer to our hotel in the city of Ouarzazate, which has hosted many Hollywood films and welcomed Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Martin Scorsese and many other Hollywood celebrities, and enjoy free time.

OUARZAZATE - SAHARA DESERT CAMP After breakfast, we complete our check-out procedures and set off towards the Sahara Desert. Upon reaching our destination, we head to our desert camp where we will be staying. We settle into our camp set at the foot of the red-coloured sand dunes of the Great Sahara Desert. Afterwards, we depart with our guests who wish to join our optional Sahara Desert Sunset or Sunrise Camel Safari (35 Euro) excursion. We head to the sand dunes where we will go on safari. Afterwards, an unforgettable sunset view awaits us on our journey starting from Merzouga and continuing on camelback. After the tour, transfer to our hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Fez. Following a photo stop in Ziz Valley, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Midelt along our route. We will then travel to Ifrane, located in the Atlas Mountains and known as the Little Switzerland of Morocco. After a coffee break in Ifrane, noted for its ski resort and Swiss-style architecture, we will continue to Fez. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and have free time. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

FES - CHEFCHAOUEN - FES After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the Chefchaouen, the Blue City Tour, which will be organized as an extra for our guests who wish to join (80 Euro). After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Chefchaouen Tour. After our walk through the maze-like deep blue streets of Chefchaouen, the Blue City, whose fame has long crossed the borders of Morocco, our guests who wish to do so will have free time for shopping and lunch. After our thoroughly enjoyable Chefchaouen tour, we transfer to our hotel in Fes and have free time to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish begin the optional Former Capital Fes & Medina Tour (80 Euro). In Fes we see Bab el Makhzen, the monumental gate of the royal palace, and walk through the Mellah, the Jewish quarter around it. On the Medina tour that follows we see the Attarine Madrasa, the University of al-Qarawiyyin, Nejjarine Square, the market selling jewellery and copperware typical of Morocco, workshops known for some of the finest ceramic work in the world, and the tannery set up near the Fes river, which still processes leather with traditional methods. After the tour we leave for Rabat, the country's capital. Surrounded by a eucalyptus and Portuguese cork oak forest, Rabat lies on the bank of the Bou Regreg river. In Rabat, the capital since the exiled king announced his return from this city, we visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We leave this city, once also the capital of a pirate republic founded in the region, and set off for our Casablanca city tour.

CASABLANCA – ISTANBUL After breakfast at the hotel, rooms will be vacated. At the time indicated by our guide, we will transfer to the airport. After baggage, ticket and boarding formalities, we will fly to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services come to an end.
