Morocco Sahara Desert Camp Tour

We meet at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport three hours before the flight. After completing luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we will board our Turkish Airlines flight to Marrakech. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our private bus waiting at the airport. Next, we will embark on our Marrakech city tour. Among the sights we will see are the Koutoubia Minaret and the vibrant Jmaa el Fna, Africa's largest square, filled with street performances, snake charmers, and open-air restaurants showcasing all the colors of Africa. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Marrakech and enjoy some free time. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at our hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Essaouira, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Essaouira, a Portuguese port city where art and ancient culture intertwine, is also known by its Portuguese name, Mogador. It has served as a backdrop for many productions, including Orson Welles' Othello and the recently popular series Game of Thrones. After exploring the unique city of Essaouira, known for its Jewish quarter (mellah), Portuguese fortress, and its famous fishing port with blue boats, as well as its intersecting streets in the spacious old town center, we will transfer back to our hotel in Marrakech for some free time to relax. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will visit Jardin Majorelle, Yves Saint Laurent's secret garden, which is one of the finest examples of Moroccan architecture. You will have the opportunity to see and photograph unique plants in the garden. Following this, we will head to Ouarzazate. Before arriving in Ouarzazate, we will visit the stunning Ait Benhaddou, which has served as a set for many Hollywood films, including The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander the Great, and Babylon, as well as the recent television phenomenon Game of Thrones, along with the Hollywood film studios. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Ouarzazate, a city that has hosted many Hollywood films and welcomed stars like Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, Martin Scorsese, and many more, where you will have free time. Dinner and overnight stay will be at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set out through Tinghir toward the captivating Sahara Desert. Today will unfold like a road story. Throughout our journey, we will have the desert on one side and the Atlas Mountains on the other. Along with striking landscapes such as the water channels and Todra Valley, M’gouna, the Rose City, is among the places we will visit. Finally, we will arrive at our camp deep in the desert and settle in. At our camp overlooking the sand dunes, we will have the opportunity to watch an impressive sunset. After dinner, we will enjoy memorable moments beneath a sky filled with stars. We recommend that you do not miss the sunrise in the morning and that you photograph these beautiful moments. We will stay in our comfortable camping area.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Fez. During our journey, we will stop for photographs in Ziz Valley. We will then have lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Midelt. Afterward, we will travel to Ifrane, located in the Atlas Mountains and known as the Little Switzerland of Morocco. We will take a coffee break in this attractive town, noted for its ski resort and Swiss-style architecture. After our coffee break, we will continue to Fez. At the end of the tour, we will transfer to our hotel, where our free time will begin. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

FES - Chefchaouen - FES After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the Blue City of Chefchaouen. Following our walk through the maze-like, vibrant blue streets of Chefchaouen, which has gained fame beyond the borders of Morocco, guests will have free time for shopping and lunch if they wish. After our fulfilling visit to Chefchaouen, we will transfer back to our hotel in Fes and have free time to relax. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel we begin our Fes tour. In Fes we take a pleasant walk past Bab el Makhzen, the grand gate of the royal palace, and through the Mellah, the Jewish quarter around it. On our Medina tour we then explore landmarks such as the Attarine Madrasa, the University of al-Qarawiyyin and Nejjarine Square, and stroll through the market selling jewellery and copperware typical of Morocco. We also visit workshops known for some of the finest ceramic work in the world and the tannery that processes leather with traditional methods. We then set off for Rabat, the country's capital. Surrounded by eucalyptus and Portuguese cork oak trees, the city lies on the bank of the Bou Regreg river. Rabat has been the capital since the exiled king announced his return here. Our visits include the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We then leave this city, once the capital of a pirate republic, and head for Casablanca.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of our rooms. At the time indicated by our guide, we will transfer to the airport. After handling luggage, tickets, and boarding procedures, we will fly to Istanbul on a Turkish Airlines scheduled flight. With our arrival at Istanbul Airport, our tour and services come to an end.
