About the brand

The Luxury Collection

The Luxury Collection was created in January 1992, when ITT Sheraton grouped its most expensive hotels under a single heading; the palaces of the Italian CIGA chain joined in 1994. It now belongs to Marriott International. These are not chain hotels: most are converted palaces or historic buildings, and since 2010 each property carries its own logo.
