The Westin Cape Town

Positives: Very good location with amazing views, excellent service and very good rooms. Amazing breakfast with some options via a menu (also nice ones). There is also a spa, swimming pool, saunas, gym and jacuzzi - all with an amazing view on the city. I stayed in an upgraded room on the 18th floor and that was very much worth it. Negatives: Gym was located right above me and I could hear loud banging from there sometimes. Not pleasant, but even this miss does not affect the overly amazing experience.

This hotel has maintained its high standards. Staff are professional and friendly and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-kept. Best of all is the sun that streams through the window onto the bed...giving the room a warm, cosy and natural feel. I enjoyed the breakfast on the 19th floor as I looked out onto Cape Town. The fact that it is right opposite the CTICC makes it a really convenient venue. It is also a short uber drive to the V&A Waterfront, as well as Bree street with a variety of restaurants to choose from.

We had a wonderful stay at The Westin Cape Town and would absolutely stay here again. The location was excellent—close enough to walk to the V&A Waterfront in about 10–15 minutes, while still being convenient to the city center and major attractions. It made a great base for exploring Cape Town. Our room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with amazing views of both the city. Waking up to those views every morning was a highlight of the trip. The Executive Lounge was one of the best hotel lounges we have experienced! The staff were welcoming, the food and beverage offerings were excellent, and it was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was truly top-notch, with a huge variety of fresh options and high-quality ingredients. Most importantly, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional, and eager to help. Service was consistently excellent from check-in through departure. Cape Town was one of the highlights of our Africa trip, and The Westin played a big part in that experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.
