The Heritage Chiang Rai

I recently stayed at Heritage Chiang Rai Hotel and overall, I would describe my experience as average and reasonably good value for money, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve. The hotel is not located right in the city centre, so if you are looking for a hotel within walking distance of the main city attractions, this may not be the most convenient choice. However, it is located near Central Chiang Rai, which is a big advantage for shopping, restaurants, and getting around the area. The location worked well for me because I preferred being close to the mall rather than staying directly in the busy city centre. The room was generally comfortable, but I had an issue with Room 740. The door did not close properly in the normal way and I felt this should be checked and fixed by the maintenance team. A hotel room door is an important part of security and convenience, so I hope the management will inspect the door mechanism and make sure it closes properly. The biggest disappointment for me was the breakfast. I personally did not enjoy the breakfast and felt that there is considerable room for improvement. There was bread and butter, but surprisingly no cheese, and overall I found the breakfast selection and quality quite underwhelming. I also tried some of the local food, but it was too spicy for my taste. I would recommend the hotel consider offering a better balance of local and international breakfast choices, including some simple options for guests who cannot handle very spicy food. Breakfast is an important part of the hotel experience, especially for travellers staying several nights, so improving the variety, quality and presentation would make a noticeable difference. That said, I don't think the hotel is a bad choice. Considering the location near Central Chiang Rai and the overall accommodation, I would say it offers reasonable value for money. The hotel has potential, but attention to small maintenance issues and especially improvements to the breakfast would make the stay much better. Overall: Average experience and value for money, but the breakfast definitely needs improvement. I hope the management takes these comments constructively and works on these areas for future guests.

This hotel is a Gem in the heart of Chiang Rai. The hospitality is top notch. I was in a very bad state because the hotel i booked before, was not upto my standards and I was in Agony. I came to The Heritage, hoping to get a room. I was welcomed by Receptionist Mr. New, he was so professional and helpful. He listened to my concerns and helped me throughout the booking process. He showed me the room beforehand to assure what is expected in my stay and I was happy as ever. Secondly, Ms Tango ( a night receptionist), she was super cute and beautiful, she helped me to get to know around the place and that helped me alot. Last but not the least, Mr Pan (restaurant manager), verge professional and keep things running smoothly in the restaurant. Every staff in this hotel is amazing, sorry I cannot name you all but you guys are lovely. Room A+, House keeping A+, Food A+, Hospitality A++++.
