Sheraton Porto & Spa

The rooms are well appointed. The bellmen are nice. The desk staff and restaurant staff are the reason for the 3 stars. I've stayed here twice, for multiple days each stay. Both times there were problems at the desk. My first visit, I booked a club level room that included breakfast. However, my name never made it onto the club level list and I was embarrassed each evening when attempting to enter. My 2nd visit I was embarrassed when my business card and then my personal card both were declined. I recommended the staff check their system given both cards were valid. They rebooted their machine and then the card was accepted. The same issue happened with the room assignment. I booked a club level room, and asked about what was included when checking in. They told me that my room includes breakfast but not the club lounge. I'm not going to push back this time, but I also won't book here again. The breakfast restaurant is ok, but the staff get overwhelmed.

Stayed at this hotel many times in 2024 and it has always been highly pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and lovely. The room was spacious, the bathroom was very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is a great spread and has plenty of options for different diets. I haven't had the chance to explore the local area or make use of the spa/ sauna facilities during my past trips so I can't comment on that, but I would definitely book this hotel again.

I stayed at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa last month and the experience was simply excellent. From the extremely professional and friendly staff to the comfort of the rooms, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is elegant, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast had great quality and variety, and the spa was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. You can really notice the attention to detail throughout the hotel. Without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences in Porto! Highly recommended.
