Real Hispano

Loved our stay! The courtyard set up offers a peaceful surrounding with a small garden and pool. Breakfast was delicious and reasonable. Don't miss the rooftop sitting area, a great place to catch the lightshow at the cathedral or just enjoy a view over the city. Our room was clean and comfortable, the small patio was helpful for drying swimsuits. The service at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Hotel has a convenient downtown location easy walking distance to museums, restaurants, shops etc.

We had a nice stay in one of the Executive double rooms. Great location, nice balcony. There is a lovely courtyard with pool and hammock area. The room was clean and nice. Some little quirks: when we arrived we didn’t have a hand towel or bath mat, and there was a coffee maker but no coffee. Hotel breakfast was ok, standard issue buffet, I would look elsewhere if you are not in a rush. They kindly let us check out late at no extra charge. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Stayed at the Real Hispano for two nights this past week. Location was great, near to the central square and only a couple blocks from the ADO station. Check-in was not particularly helpful, they gave us our key and said ‘hasta luego’, rooms not laid out sequentially so we wandered around for a while until we found it. AC unit was dripping on the floor when we arrived, continued to do so throughout our stay. Water temperature of the shower never even got lukewarm. Hair dryer did not work. We used the pool once, fairly shallow but no-one else in it, which was nice. Didn’t try their restaurant. Interesting little chapel where the nuns (used to?) pray. We really enjoyed Valladolid, good food and incredible cenotes. Do not think we would stay at this hotel again.
