Leonardo Royal Hotel Baden-Baden

Had a lovely stay, the room was huge, bathroom clean and the shower functioned well. My room had a big balcony with a great view. Loved the bag with extra towels and slippers for the spa downstairs and the bathrobes. The spa had a great relaxation area with free water and snacks, just one pool but it was in a very good condition. Bar staff was friendly and procided me with a bucket of ice for my room. Reception staff was exceptionally friendly and made the stay memorable. Only 2 points of criticism: 1. The air conditioning didn't really manage to cool the rolm as expexted in the middle of the heat wave, made sleeping a bit dufficult. 2. There were no labels next to the buttons in the elevator for which level the spa is on, total guess work and had ro check wach floor. Please lavel the bittons for clarity!

The entire hotel is very good; the reception staff all speak excellent English and are very helpful, they also gave me valuable information about the naked spas in the town. I also enjoyed the pool (which is large) and the garden with two saunas in it. Our room had a small terrace with great panorama from the last floor. There were also air conditioning and a refrigerator (I mention that because hotels in Germany often don’t have these, sadly). The hotel has a parking which was very packed but I was still able to find where to park.
