this is a small and compact hotel taht enough for transit and enjoy balikpapan. There are a lot of costumers when i was here. Like any Ibis, the colorful concept dominates the wall with compact bedroom. but still everything is great. as night, sitting outside and taling while ordering the food is also not bad. as the location is a bit uphill, but really not far from park and main road, as you can also cross teh road to one of famous area in balikappan on the shorelines...Klandasan for seafood and night life.
The pillows are so hard we couldnt get a good nites sleep. We asked after the first night if we could get a softer pillow but the receptionist said they were not available. The whole purpose of a hotel is to give you a good nites sleep. Why can’t ibis get this basic thing right. Breakfast was not good either
