Four Points by Sheraton Balikpapan

Pros Staff friendly, service fast. Internet fast and stable. Bed huge and comfortable Cons Room is not maintain properly full of mold. Hook In toilet to hang your towel or clothes is loose and useless. Why housekeeping did not report and fix it ? Biggest disappointment. Water from toilet bowl flush is yellow. The tap either no water or come out water that is yellowish/ brown. Shower water too abit yellowish brown.

Been always stay here if i went to Balikpapan. This time, i brought my family to stay for 1 night. Always like the room because it was spacious and all the staff are very helpful. I also requested for late check out and they were granted it (eventho i had to pay for other room), but that was fine Just a bit input, please provide hand shower, because it was always hard for take a shower (for not washing hair) and wudhu. Also, the surrounding area at the pool, the floor seems not maintaining enough, need to be maintan Location i put 4 star was because it quite far from city centre but very close to airport.

Location is quite near the city but the hotel itself is located in small alley which makes it pretty isolated to the main road. The best part of it is actually its breakfast that are full of tasty choice. All staffs are friendly and helpful. The most disappointing is the hotel corridors and rooms. Ceiling in corridors are full of mold and aircons are either off or leaking. Its pretty hot in lobby and breakfast area which is not supposed to be how 4-star hotel operates. Room is good however aircon is not so cold and the most disappointing out of all is that their water was somehow brownish and sticky. I am not able to shower and left hanging for hours to wait for the issues to be solved. Overall it does not seem that the hotel is of Marriott standard and pretty disappointing.
