Hotel Iliria

I want to leave an objective and honest review of this hotel. I booked for 4 nights. Check-in was quick and easy, room 219 on the 2nd floor. When I entered the room, it looked clean, but the furniture was very simple. There were no bedside lamps, so it was uncomfortable to lie in the dark or turn on a bright light in the evening. There was no table in the room; there was a table and two chairs on the balcony, but they were in poor condition (photo attached). The safe was locked and did not open as instructed. The water pressure in the shower was normal, the toilet was normal, and the sink was normal. The beds were uncomfortable, the mattress was very hard. The air conditioner was quiet and cooled well. The shower had someone's hair in it and was already a little worn (photo attached). When I started looking closely at the details, I saw that the electrical system was not in very good condition, several sockets were torn out (photo attached), and the room was dusty in places. The room needs renovation. The most interesting things began in the morning. I'm a person who likes to sleep until 11 a.m., but I couldn't do it because the soundproofing was just terrible (I'm attaching a video). Every day from 8:30-9:00 a.m., the cleaners started walking around the floors, playing their music really loudly, and also talking really loudly. This noise was constant and everywhere, no peace and relaxation. Regarding cleaning, on the first day they came to clean around 1 p.m. when I wasn't home, everything was cleaned well. The next day they came at 10:30 a.m. and started knocking on the door, trying to open it with a key, and this all went on for about three minutes, that is, instead of realizing that the room was locked from the other side, they continued trying to get into the room. After 3 minutes, I opened the door and politely asked them to come later, saying that I was sleeping now. After that, my room was not cleaned for 3 days!!! I didn't see any cleaners near my room anymore, and for 3 days I walked on sand on the floor. Decide for yourself whether to stay in this hotel or not, the worst thing is the soundproofing.
