Comfort Inn Flagstaff Lucky Lane I-40

Such a gross experience! I wouldn’t let my dog sleep at this place. Don’t let the pictures online fool you. I went here with my fiance and three week old baby. When we got to our room (209), it was absolutely filthy. Stains on the walls, dirty looking floors, etc. The door itself looked like someone had tried to break into it at one point. To top it off, the whole entire floor, including our room, absolutely wreaked of weed. Keep in mind that there is a law against smoking in the rooms. When we went down to the lobby, they asked if we would like to change rooms. I let them know that the entire place smelled like weed, so we would prefer a refund. A couple minutes later, the front desk guy agreed to the refund and gave us a receipt showing such and we left. Ironically, on the receipt itself, it had the law referencing no smoking in the rooms. They said to get the rest of the refund, we had to call the booking agent we went through. After we did that, the booking agent worked with the hotel and found out that after we left, they actually voided the refund without telling us! They said this was due to us not changing rooms. Absolutely shady! Do not stay here! Terrible experience. Terrible service. UPDATE - Reply to the owners response: First, what does them being African American have to do with anything?? Also, when your employee asked me to go to another room, I said I would prefer a refund. When he came out, he said you could offer a refund. THERE WAS NO OTHER COMMUNICATION ABOUT MOVING ROOMS!!! He never offered another floor, just a different room. I even received, and still have, the refund receipt you printed out for me. We used the bathroom and one hand towel, trying to make it work or remove the smell. But the odor got stronger and so did my headache. We moved the sheets to check for bed bugs because how dirty and smelly that room was. The smoke was clearly coming from the room across from ours, given the potency and the do not disturb sign on the door. It could have been from others as well. The whole floor STUNK! When I reported this, and since it’s a law to not smoke in the room, as printed on your refund receipt, did you take any action? The booking company had to tell us the next day that you voided our refund without notifying us after we reached out to them, and they reached out to you. Luckily, they were kind enough to credit the full amount back to us for the experience we had. At least someone has some decency.

We were in Flagstaff for 4 days, over memorial weekend and had to stay in a vtbo hotelThat was less than satisfactory. Luckily, we found comfort inn on our last day. The bed was amazing. The room was clean. The shower was phenomenal. Breakfast was great. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable on our last night in town. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!

It was easy to get to and the roads were clean. I asked about the service they had because I had just spent two nice prayer prior in there. This was my third night any comfort the first place had a hot breakfast eggs bacon sausage waffles, but the Flagstaff had eggs and sausage, no bacon no chocolate milk like the first place and when I ask about helping me set up because I just did this, they couldn’t do that. I didn’t understand why because that was my third night in a row at a comfort Inn so I don’t know why they wouldn’t let me just do it but they wouldn’t the Comfort Inn and Amarillo beat this place hands-down.
