We meet with Ejder Tourism representatives at Istanbul Airport at 09:00 to complete our check-in procedures. At 13:15, we take off with the award-winning comfort of Singapore Airlines, starting our journey to Cambodia with a layover in Singapore. We will spend the night resting on the plane. We begin the day by exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Accompanied by our guide, we examine the mythological scenes carved in stone from the Hindu and Buddhist periods, witnessing the glorious history of these stone structures. After breakfast, we will head to Tonle Sap, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Our tour in the capital begins at the majestic Royal Palace, representing the royal traditions of Cambodia, and the Silver Pagoda, adorned with precious stones. Next, we visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which offers a thought-provoking perspective on the country's recent history. After breakfast, we will depart for the Vietnam border in our private vehicle. Following the border procedures, we will arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) amidst the lush landscapes of the Mekong Delta. During our city tour, we will visit the gems of French colonial architecture, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, as well as the historic witness of recent history, the Reunification Palace. We start the day at the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network that bears the most striking traces of the Vietnam War. We explore the secret passages, rooms, and trap systems used by the Viet Cong, while listening to the impressive stories of the region. At the end of our tour, we will glide along the branches of the Mekong River, observing the settlements among the palm trees, tasting tropical fruits, and getting to know the delta culture up close.
