Explore Vietnam & Cambodia: 9-Day Cultural Tour

We meet at IGA Istanbul Airport at 09:00, and after completing our ticketing, check-in, and passport procedures, we prepare for our flight. We depart from Istanbul at 13:15 on Singapore Airlines flight SQ 391, heading to Siem Reap, Cambodia with a layover in Singapore. While our flight continues overnight, you will have the opportunity to rest on the plane, and we arrive in Singapore in the early hours of the morning. Overnight on the plane.

After a layover in Singapore, we arrive in Siem Reap at 09:50 in the morning. Following our welcome at the airport, we will transfer to our hotel in a private vehicle. After passport and luggage procedures, we head to the city center of Siem Reap in our private vehicle and check into our hotel. After a short rest, we offer free time in Siem Reap. Guests who wish can take short walks in the city center, explore local markets, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Angkor region. The Old Market (Psar Chas) and its surroundings, filled with cafes and boutiques, provide a delightful setting to spend time. At the end of the day, we return to our hotel to relax. After enjoying our breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and begin our exploration of Angkor Wat, the largest temple complex in the world. Our guide will share insights into the traces of Hindu and Buddhist eras, the mythological scenes carved into the stones, and the magnificent history of the temple. We will have lunch at a local restaurant and capture unforgettable moments against the magical silhouette of Angkor Wat. In the late afternoon, we will return to the hotel to relax. After our breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head towards Tonle Sap Lake, one of Cambodia's most important natural treasures, before leaving Siem Reap. At Tonle Sap, one of Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lakes, we will have the opportunity to closely observe the floating villages during our tour on traditional wooden boats. The houses, schools, fishing boats, and the flow of daily life built on the lake reflect Cambodia's authentic culture and local lifestyle. We enjoy an unforgettable morning accompanied by our guide's narratives, pleasant photo breaks, and unique landscapes. In the afternoon, we set off towards Phnom Penh in our private vehicle. We embark on a delightful 5-6 hour road journey through rural landscapes. Along the way, we have the chance to observe the true face of Cambodia with rice fields, palm trees, and village life. Our first stop is the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, which is one of the country's most important symbols. These impressive structures, adorned with gold, silver, and precious stones, allow us to closely understand Cambodia's royal tradition and Buddhist beliefs. Following our visit, we walk through streets that reflect the French colonial era and visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, which sheds light on the country's recent history. This stop offers a striking and thought-provoking perspective on Cambodia's past. In the afternoon, we take a short walk along the banks of the Mekong River, followed by free time at Phsar Thmei (Central Market) or the Russian Market. Here, we have the opportunity to shop for silk shawls, handmade souvenirs, and local products. In the evening, we enjoy dinner at a local restaurant where we will experience the unique flavors of Cambodian cuisine. After dinner, we return to our hotel to rest. Once we complete the border crossing procedures, we continue our journey towards Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) amidst the lush landscapes of the Mekong Delta. After a pleasant road trip lasting approximately 6-7 hours, we arrive in Saigon in the afternoon. Following our arrival, we take a short city tour to closely experience both the modern and historical fabric of Vietnam. During our tour, we will see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, two of the most significant symbols from the French colonial period, and visit the Old Presidential Palace (Reunification Palace), which bears witness to the country's recent history. We then take a brief walk around Ben Thanh Market and provide free time for shopping. In the evening, we enjoy a special dinner at a local restaurant where we will experience the exquisite flavors of Vietnamese cuisine. After dinner, we transfer back to our hotel. Early in the morning, we depart from our hotel and head towards the Cu Chi Tunnels, which bear the most striking traces of the Vietnam War. Accompanied by our guide, we explore the underground living quarters used by the Viet Cong during the war, as well as the narrow passages, secret rooms, and trap systems built for defense; this is a chance to get to know Vietnam's history more closely through the region's impressive stories. After lunch, you have free time to spend the rest of the day as you wish: a perfect opportunity for shopping at Ben Thanh Market, experiencing Saigon's coffee culture, or taking a final stroll through the French colonial streets. After enjoying breakfast at our hotel, we check out and head towards the branches of the Mekong River. During our Mekong Delta boat tour, we glide through palm tree-lined canals, take breaks in small settlements, and closely observe the traditional lifestyle of the region. We taste tropical fruits at local farms and enjoy delightful moments immersed in traditional music and local culture along the delta. Lunch At the time determined by our guide, we set off for Tan Son Nhat Airport. After completing our luggage and passport procedures, our journey back to Istanbul begins with Singapore Airlines, with a layover in Singapore: Overnight on the plane.
