6-Night Vietnam & Cambodia Tour with Turkish Airlines

We meet our guests at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport approximately 3 hours before the flight time, 1 calendar day before the outbound flight date. After completing our baggage drop-off and passport procedures, we board Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight to Saigon. Our journey to Saigon continues through the night, with the overnight stay on board. Upon arrival in Saigon, we complete our passport and baggage procedures and meet our waiting private vehicle. We begin our panoramic city tour to discover Saigon, Vietnam’s largest city and economic centre. We see the city’s key landmarks, where French colonial architecture, broad boulevards, lively squares and modern skyscrapers bring the past and present together. During our panoramic tour, we see Independence Palace, a witness to Vietnamese history; Notre-Dame Cathedral, an example of French colonial architecture; the historic Central Post Office, designed in a style inspired by the school of the famous architect Gustave Eiffel; City Hall, noted for its façade; the Saigon Opera House; and Nguyen Hue Walking Street, considered the heart of the city.

SAIGON After breakfast, we depart for our Cu Chi Tunnels Tour with Lunch, one of the most striking testimonies of the Vietnam War history. This extensive underground tunnel system, built against French colonial forces in the 1940s and later used against the American army during the Vietnam War, consists of living areas, kitchens, weapon storage, hospital sections and secret passages. During our tour of the tunnels, we will have the opportunity to closely learn about the Vietnamese people's struggle for life during the war years and the defense strategies they implemented. After our lunch at a local restaurant, we return to the city center and visit the War Museum, Opera House, Historical Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. After our tour, we have dinner at a local restaurant. At the end of the day, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

SAIGON After breakfast, we depart for our Mekong Delta Tour with Lunch & Motorized Tuk-Tuk & Sampan Boat Tour & Ben Thanh Market Shopping excursion. Our first stop is Ben Tre, one of the most enjoyable destinations in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, we begin our private boat tour on the Ham Luong River. During the tour, we will have the opportunity to observe the region's lush greenery, coconut groves and traditional riverside life up close. Next, we take an enjoyable ride through the village roads on a Xe Lam (motorized tuk-tuk), a local mode of transportation, and visit a local workshop where traditional brooms are produced. We then embark on an unforgettable journey through the narrow canals on traditional sampan boats and visit a local family where we taste fresh tropical fruits. During our short walk through the village, we get to know the natural beauty and daily life of the region more closely. After lunch at a local restaurant, we return to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way back, we have free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market. After dinner at a local restaurant, we are transferred to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we transfer to Saigon Airport in the early morning and take our flight to Siem Reap with a local airline. Upon arrival, we meet our waiting private vehicle and begin our Ancient City of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Angkor Wat Sunset tour with lunch, followed by an Apsara Dance Show with dinner. Entering through the South Gate, we see sculptures depicting the “Churning of the Ocean of Milk,” one of the most important scenes in Hindu mythology, at the entrance to the Ancient City of Angkor Thom. We then visit Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers and approximately 200 smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara. After seeing Baphuon Temple, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the ruins of the Royal Palace, we have lunch at a local restaurant. We then visit Angkor Wat Temple, a symbol of Cambodia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of approximately 81 hectares, the temple’s five towers represent Mount Meru in Hindu belief, while the surrounding moat symbolises the ocean.

SIEM REAP – HANOI After breakfast, we depart for the Tonle Sap Lake Boat Tour with Lunch. On our boat tour of Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, we will have the opportunity to discover up close the floating villages built on the water, the traditional life of the local people and the unique natural beauties. After Lunch at a local restaurant, we transfer to Siem Reap airport and take our flight to Hanoi with a local airline. Upon arrival, after dinner at a local restaurant, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

HANOI After breakfast, we depart for Hanoi City Tour with Lunch & Cyclo Tour & Water Puppet Show. First, we take in panoramic views of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, one of Hanoi's most iconic landmarks, Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House, and the Presidential Palace. Next, we visit the One Pillar Pagoda, built in 1049 and one of the city's most important religious structures, and the Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hanoi's oldest temple. We then explore the Temple of Literature, considered Vietnam's first university, built in 1070 in honor of Confucius. After lunch at a local restaurant, we discover the historic Old Quarter streets of Hanoi by traditional cyclo, experiencing the city's vibrant atmosphere up close. At the end of the day, we watch a Water Puppet Show, one of the most important traditions of Vietnamese culture. After dinner at a local restaurant, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

HANOI - HALONG BY CRUISE After breakfast, we depart from our hotel for the Halong Bay Cruise Tour and head towards the enchanting Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we board our private boat with a warm welcome and a complimentary drink, beginning a fairy-tale journey. Limestone islands covered in lush green vegetation rising towards the sky glide over the calm waters like a painting, and every turn reveals another beauty. This magical scenery reflected on the water evokes a sense of tranquility and peace at once. After lunch on the boat, our guests who wish can enjoy this unique atmosphere with activities such as swimming, kayaking or exploring hidden caves. We have dinner on our boat as the bay transforms into golden hues towards sunset, and we spend the night on board our comfortable cruise ship in the tranquility of Halong Bay. HANOI – ISTANBUL After breakfast, we wake up to the calm waters and soothing sound of the waves of the bay, and for guests who wish, there will be an opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the cool waters in the early morning hours. We then start our day with breakfast on board. We can take our place on the upper deck and watch the enchanting view of limestone islets rising from the emerald green sea, enjoying peaceful moments within this unique natural landscape. As our cruise continues through the bay, we have the opportunity to discover different and impressive rock formations. After completing our cabin check-out procedures, we disembark in the late morning. We then head to the city center to explore Hanoi, Vietnam's capital and one of its most important cultural centers, and begin our panoramic city tour. With a history of approximately a thousand years, Hanoi is a city that captivates visitors with its elegant architecture reflecting the French colonial period, wide boulevards, historic structures, and an atmosphere where traditional life blends seamlessly with modern city life.
