Four Silk Road cities fit into five nights and six days on this Uzbekistan tour. The route begins in Tashkent, continues through Samarkand and Bukhara and ends in Khiva, with a visit to Imam Maturidi in Samarkand and the old fortress of Ichan Kala in Khiva. The return flight leaves from Urgench. City tours of the four cities, half board stays and Turkish speaking guidance are included.

Arrival in Tashkent
We meet in front of the Türk Hava Yolları counter at the Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours before the flight. You must be at the airport on the evening 1 day before the departure date stated in the tour itinerary. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Tashkent at 01.15 on Türk Havayolları flight TK368. We arrive in Tashkent at 07.40 local time and begin our city tour with our guide and the private vehicle waiting for us at the airport.
Tashkent, the capital and largest city of Uzbekistan, is one of Central Asia’s main centres of culture, trade and industry. Dating back to the 2nd century BC, the city has been home to various civilisations and was an important stop on the Silk Road. Historic buildings stand alongside modern city life in Tashkent, where traditional elements are still present. Sights on the city tour include Barak Han Madrasa, Kaffal-i Şaşi Mausoleum, Tilla Şeyh Mosque, Kökeldaş Madrasa, Tashkent Metro and Tashkent Bazaar.
After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. After dinner, we spend the night at the hotel.

On to Samarkand
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Semerkant. With its strategic location on the Silk Road, Semerkant is a cultural and commercial center of Central Asia and one of Uzbekistan's oldest cities. Our itinerary includes visits to İmam Maturidi Hazretleri, Übeydullah Ahrar Hazretleri, Afrosiyab Archaeology Museum, paper workshops using techniques dating back to the 8th century, Guri Emir (Emir Timur), Registon Square, Uluğbey Madrasa, Uluğbey Observatory, Şirdar Madrasa, Tillakari Madrasa, Kökeldaş Madrasa, Siyab Market and Şahı Zinde Mausoleum. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. After dinner, we stay overnight at the hotel.
03Samarkand - BukharaPoyi Kalon Complex, Kalan Minaret and Mir Arap Madrasa.
On to Bukhara
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Bukhara. One of Uzbekistan's oldest and most historic cities, Bukhara holds an important place among Central Asia's cultural and religious centres. Throughout its thousands of years of history, it has been a centre of education and culture in the Islamic world. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is an open-air museum with its historic buildings, madrasas, mosques and bathhouses. On our city tour, we see Lebi Havuz Mosque, the Jewish Quarter, Poyi Kalon Complex, Kalan Minaret, built by the Karakhanids, the first Turkish Islamic state, Mir Arap Madrasa, Uluğbey Madrasa and Çar Minar Madrasa. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel and have free time. After dinner, we spend the night at the hotel.
04Bukhara - KhivaDinner among Khiva's landmarks, then an evening walk.
On to Khiva
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Khiva in Khorezm. Upon arrival in Khiva, we check in at our hotel and have free time. At the time set by our guide, we have dinner among Khiva's architectural landmarks. After dinner, we take a walk through the streets of Khiva, once a stop on desert journeys. After the walk, we stay overnight at our hotel in Khiva.

Khiva City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our city tour of Khiva. Sights on the tour include the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ichan Kale, the old fortress of Kunya-Ark, Cuma Mosque, İslam Hoca Madrasa and Minaret, Allah kulu Han Madrasa, Muhammed Emin han, Muhammed Rahim Han Madrasa, Şirgazi Han Madrasa, Pehlivan Dervaze Gate and Taşkale Caravanserai. After the tour, we have free time for shopping in Khiva's bazaars. We have dinner at our hotel in Khiva and stay there overnight.
06Khiva - Urgench - IstanbulEarly transfer to the airport, then the flight to Istanbul.
Return via Urgench
After checking out of the hotel early, we transfer to the airport at the time specified by our guide. After completing baggage, ticket and passport formalities, we depart for Istanbul at 08.10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK263. Our tour ends upon arrival at 10.30 local time.
