Alps Tour

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Basel on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1923 at 07:30. Arriving in Basel at 09:40 local time, we will head to Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the jewel of the Alsace region, with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. While exploring Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobblestone medieval quarters. With its fairy-tale nature and historical structures, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is truly a place worth seeing. Additionally, Strasbourg holds historical significance as the place where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, and it presents itself as a city where Alsace culture blends with French architecture. During our city tour, we will visit Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square, and the Petit France area adorned with traditional Alsace Houses.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra tour of the Magnificent Germany Duo (Baden Baden & Heidelberg) for 85 Euro. Our first stop will be Baden Baden, a nature-rich oxygen haven with countless amenities, including a cultural arts center, thermal baths, and even Europe's most famous casino. After exploring Baden Baden, which has inspired many renowned writers and composers, we will proceed to another magnificent German city, Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will transport you back to the Middle Ages. Heidelberg, a calm, elegant, and refined city, will greet you with the harmony of its architecture and colors. During our city tour, we will visit Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Strasbourg or its vicinity.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour to the Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) for an extra fee of 110 Euro. Our first stop will be the natural wonder of Rhine Falls, which holds the title of the largest waterfall in Europe with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres. This location, embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you can find peace while watching the dance of its azure waters. After a captivating walk amidst the power of the water and its stunning scenery, we will head to Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, which welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic center, dazzling Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After visiting the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, as well as St. Peterskirche, which is the largest clock tower in Europe, we will explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city's shopping center. Following our tour, we will travel to Lucerne, a historic city located at the foot of the Alps in central Switzerland.

After breakfast, we will check out of our rooms and head to Freiburg. Freiburg, Germany's fourth largest city, is steeped in medieval history and is located near the Black Forest, captivating visitors with its natural beauty. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including the Münster Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, Markthalle (Covered Market), Münsterplatz (Grand Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau. Following our tour, we will proceed to Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that combines both modern and historical elements, housing many treasures despite its small area. During our city tour, we will see the Basel Cathedral, which is the burial site of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus, the main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Rois.
