Morocco Tour

ISTANBUL – CASABLANCA We meet at the Sabiha Gökçen Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, our Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight to Casablanca begins. Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, we transfer to our hotel by private bus waiting for us at the airport and stay overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel we set off for the capital, Rabat. Surrounded by eucalyptus and Portuguese cork oak forests, Rabat lies on the bank of the Bou Regreg river. It has been the country's capital since the exiled king announced his return from this city. In Rabat we visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. We then continue towards Fes and begin exploring the Fes Medina. In Fes we see Bab el Makhzen, the monumental gate of the royal palace, and walk through the Mellah, the Jewish quarter around it. We continue through the maze-like streets of the historic Medina. Among the places we will see are the Attarine Madrasa, the University of al-Qarawiyyin, Nejjarine Square, the market selling jewellery and copperware typical of Morocco, and the tannery set up near the Fes river, which still processes leather with traditional methods. FES – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our Blue City Chefchaouen Tour. After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for the Chefchaouen Tour. After our walk through the maze-like blue streets of Chefchaouen, the Blue City whose fame has long crossed the borders of Morocco, free time will be available for guests who wish to shop and have lunch. After thoroughly enjoying our time in Chefchaouen, we continue our tour and transfer to our hotel in Fes, with free time to rest. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Ifrane in the Atlas Mountains. Known as the Switzerland of Morocco, Ifrane is a tourist destination noted for its ski resort and Swiss-style architecture. After free time here, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant in the town of Midelt along our route. We then arrive and settle into our camp, where we will stay in the desert. From our accommodation overlooking the sand dunes, we watch the sunset and, after dinner, spend time beneath the star-filled sky. ERFOUD – TINGHIR – OUARZAZATE We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we set off towards Ouarzazate via Tinghir. Our day will unfold as a road journey. Along the way, the desert will stretch out on one side and the Atlas Mountains on the other. Water channels, the Todra Valley, and M'gouna (the rose city) will be among our stops. Afterwards, we arrive at our hotel in Ouarzazate, a city that has hosted many Hollywood films and welcomed Hollywood celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, and Martin Scorsese, among others. OUARZAZATE – AIT BENHADDOU – FILM STUDIOS – MARRAKECH After breakfast at the hotel, we check out and travel to Marrakech. Before arriving in Marrakech, we will visit the breathtaking Ait Benhaddou and the Hollywood film studios, which have served as a set for numerous Hollywood films such as The Call of the Nile, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Gladiator, Alexander the Great and Babylon, as well as for the recent television phenomenon Game of Thrones. We then continue our journey towards Marrakech. Upon arrival, we visit the Koutoubia minaret and Jmaa el Fna, Africa's largest square, a lively meeting point of all the colours of Africa with street performances, snake charmers and open-air restaurants. Afterwards, we learn about exotic spices and visit the Bahia Palace, decorated with zelij tiles unique to the country. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Marrakech and free time. After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for our Essaouira tour. In this region, home to Morocco's densest Argan tree groves, our first stop is the Argan Oil Cooperative, where we learn about Argan Oil. We then continue to the city of Essaouira, located on the Atlantic coast. It is a world-famous former Portuguese town that reminds us of old Bodrum. Declared a "World Heritage" site by UNESCO, the city is a fishing port on the Atlantic coast and a seaside town where art and culture intertwine. It has also served as a filming location for many productions, including Orson Welles' Othello and the recent hit TV series Game of Thrones. Among the sights to see are the city's fortress, the fishing port, and the Medina, built in the style of ancient Roman towns. You can explore the city through its wonderfully narrow, maze-like streets and enjoy pleasant shopping. After the tour, transfer to your hotel in Marrakech and free time to rest. MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA We start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we set off for the Majorelle Gardens tour. We visit the Majorelle Gardens, one of the most beautiful spots in Marrakech, founded by French furniture designer and painter Jacques Majorelle and brought to its present form by the renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. Following our visit to the gardens, we depart at the time set by our guide towards Casablanca. Upon arrival, the places we will see include Rick’s Cafe, inspired by the setting of the film "Casablanca"; the Hassan II Mosque; and the lively seaside promenade, the Corniche. After the tour, we transfer to the airport. After the baggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we begin our flight to Istanbul on a scheduled Pegasus Airlines service.
