01DAY 1 | ISTANBUL - TBILISI: ENTRY TO THE CAUCASUS At Istanbul Airport
We meet with the tour leader at 11:00 AM to complete our check-in procedures and then depart for Tbilisi on the Turkish Airlines (THY) flight at 13:15. Upon our arrival at 16:35, we collect our luggage and meet our local guide with the ease of visa-free entry. After checking into the hotel, we take an evening stroll to feel the spirit of Tbilisi, visiting Sharden Street and the famous Clock Tower. Our first dinner is at our hotel. 02DAY 2 | MTSKHETA & TBILISI
DEPTHS OF HISTORY After breakfast, we head to Mtskheta, the ancient capital and spiritual center of Georgia. We will visit the Jvari Monastery, perched on a hill where two rivers meet, and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, believed to house a piece of Christ's robe. After enjoying a tasting of the famous Georgian dumplings (Khinkali) for lunch, we return to Tbilisi. We take a cable car to Narikala Fortress for a panoramic view of the city, followed by an exploration of the sulfur bath district. In the evening, an unforgettable feast awaits us with a traditional Georgian Folklore Show accompanied by wine. Included Services: Breakfast, Lunch, Folkloric Dinner, All entrance fees.
03DAY 3 | KAZBEGI & GERGETI
ADRENALINE IN THE CAUCASUS MOUNTAINS We head north along the Georgian Military Road towards the snowy peaks. Our first stops are the turquoise Jinvali Reservoir and the medieval defensive structure of Ananuri Fortress. Upon arriving in Kazbegi, we switch to special 4x4 jeeps to navigate the region's rugged roads. At the Gergeti Trinity Church, situated at an altitude of 2,170 meters, we witness the breathtaking view of Mount Kazbek, standing at 5,047 meters. Dinner and accommodation are in Tbilisi. 04DAY 4 | TIFLIS - YEREVAN
MONASTERIES AND BORDER CROSSING After an early breakfast, we set off for the Armenian border. We complete our procedures at the Sadakhlo border gate and meet our Armenian guide. We visit the monasteries of Sanahin and Haghpat, masterpieces of medieval architecture listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After a short break in the forested Dilijan region, known as the "Switzerland of Armenia," we arrive in Yerevan. 05DAY 5 | AROUND YEREVAN
IN THE SHADOW OF MOUNT ARARAT Today, we explore some of the region's most iconic sites. We visit the center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Echmiadzin, and the magnificent ruins of Zvartnots. Next, we enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Ararat at Khor Virap Monastery, located at the Turkish border. After a lunch at a winery that includes a wine tasting, we conclude the day with visits to the Hellenistic-era Garni Temple and the rock-carved Geghard Monastery. 06DAY 6 | YEREVAN - LAKE SEVAN - RETURN TO TBILISI
After exploring the Cascade Complex and modern art pieces on our Yerevan city tour, we head north to Lake Sevan. We visit the 9th-century Sevanavank Monastery located on the peninsula and enjoy a fresh trout lunch by the lakeside. After completing border procedures, we return to Tbilisi for our accommodation. 07DAY 7 | TBLISI - SHEKI
HELLO AZERBAIJAN We depart from Georgia and enter "The Land of Fire," Azerbaijan, through the Red Bridge border crossing. Upon our arrival in Sheki, one of the important stops on the Silk Road, we visit the Sheki Khan Palace, renowned for its unique stained glass windows and constructed without the use of nails. We soak in the atmosphere of the historic caravanserai and explore local silk workshops. Accommodation: Sheki Saray Hotel or Sheki Palace Hotel 4*.
08DAY 8 | SHEKI - GOBUSTAN - BAKU
ANCIENT TRAILS We take a break at the historic Friday Mosque in Shamakhi while heading towards Baku. In Gobustan National Park, near Baku, we explore 40,000-year-old rock carvings and the fascinating Mud Volcanoes in the area. In the evening, we arrive at Baku, the pearl of the Caspian, and enjoy a stroll along the promenade accompanied by a light show from the Flame Towers. 09DAY 9 | BAKU - ISTANBUL
FAREWELL TO THE LAND OF FIRE On our final day, we will visit the futuristic Heydar Aliyev Center designed by Zaha Hadid, and the Atashgah Fire Temple, famous for its eternal flame. After exploring the heart of Baku, the Old City (İçeri Şeher), where we will see the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, we will enjoy our farewell dinner. We will return to Istanbul on flight 16:50, completing our tour.
