Albania Tour

Meet in front of the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After baggage, ticket and passport procedures, depart for Tirana at 08.00 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1073. Following our arrival in Tirana at 08.45 local time, the panoramic Tirana city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Skanderbeg Square, Ethem Bey Mosque, the Clock Tower, National History Museum and the Parliament Building are among the sights we will see. After the city tour, we depart for the coast of the Ionian Sea, famous for its turquoise waters. En route, we stop in Vlora, one of Albania's important coastal cities. We take a panoramic city tour of Vlora, known as the city where Albania's declaration of independence was proclaimed. Independence Square, Flag Square and the coastline are among the sights we will see. After our visit to Vlora, depart for Saranda, the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, famous for its turquoise waters. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at our hotel in Saranda.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Gjirokastër Tour (65 Euro). On our full-day tour departing from Saranda, we will explore some of Albania's most important natural and historic sites. We depart for Gjirokastër, a city bearing traces of the Ottoman era and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Gjirokastër, one of the Balkans' most distinctive cities with its stone houses and historic fabric, Gjirokastër Castle (panoramic), the historic bazaar and characteristic stone houses are among the sights we will see. During our castle visit, we will have the opportunity to admire a panoramic view of the city against the valley scenery. With a walk through the narrow streets, we will enjoy a delightful journey into the past. After our tour, return to Saranda and overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join our optional Magnificent Ksamil Tour (65 Euro). Our first stop is a visit to Blue Eye (Blue Eye), famous for its turquoise water and impressive natural formation. At Blue Eye, one of the region's most striking locations with its natural beauty and crystal-clear water, there will be a break for photographs and exploration. Afterwards, we depart for the town of Ksamil, known as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera. Free time will be provided in Ksamil, famous for its white sandy beaches, turquoise sea and islets just offshore. During this time, our guests may walk along the shore, enjoy the sea and unique scenery, or, if they wish, spend time in the cafes and restaurants in the area. After the free time, we return to Saranda. Overnight at our hotel.

After vacating the rooms and having breakfast in the morning, we depart from Saranda at 09:00. Accompanied by Albania's unique mountain and countryside scenery, we begin our journey towards Berat, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and renowned as the "City of a Thousand Windows". Following our arrival in Berat, we take our panoramic city tour. In this city, which has a fascinating atmosphere with its historic fabric surviving from the Ottoman era, white stone houses and rows of windows along the hillside, the Osum River, the historic Gorica and Mangalem neighbourhoods, and the exterior of Berat Castle are among the main sights we will see. During the free time provided, guests who wish may walk through the historic streets, browse shops selling local products and enjoy the city's unique scenery. At the time specified by our guide, we leave Berat and depart for Tirana Airport. Following our arrival at the airport, we complete our baggage, ticket and passport procedures, then depart for Istanbul at 19:50 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1078. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 22:35 local time and the end of our tour.
