Italy Tour

We meet at Sabiha Gökçen Airport international departures terminal three hours before the flight. After completing our baggage, ticket and boarding procedures, we board our AJet Airlines scheduled flight to Rome. Upon arrival, we transfer to our private coach waiting for us at the airport and set off on a panoramic city tour. Rome, once a magical city that shone with endless splendor and was shaped by the winds of history, has hosted the grandeur of its emperors, the courage of its gladiators and the highest forms of art. On this tour we will see Castel Sant'Angelo, where Cem Sultan was imprisoned. Castel Sant'Angelo was originally built as a mausoleum by the Roman Emperor Hadrian and later converted into a fortress. During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it was used as a kind of prison and a papal fortress. Another place we will see in Rome is the Colosseum, which carries the spirit of the ancient ages in the heart of the city. In this colossal arena, brave gladiators and wild animals once engaged in epic battles accompanied by the cheers of the public.

ROME – (VATICAN & OUTLET – CASTEL GANDOLFO – NEMI) After breakfast, free time. Optional excursion available for those who wish to join: the Lakes Region, Vatican & Outlet – Castel Gandolfo – Nemi tour (75 €). In Castel Gandolfo, a fairytale-like place shaped around an elegant castle reaching toward the sky, where the past whispers through its stone streets, you will be captivated at every step by the charm of this peaceful town where history and nature embrace. The lake, resembling the most beautiful mirror beneath the sky, is like a gateway opening to a world of stories with its calm and beauty. The Papal Palace at the heart of the town stands as a symbol of fairytale beauty and historical grandeur. For centuries, popes have rested and found peace in this magical place. You will feel as if you are inside a dream, wandering through its gardens and the trails filled with colorful flowers. Nemi is famous for its strawberry fields, shining like red jewels. The Strawberry Festival, held every year, is celebrated with colorful festivities. After visiting Nemi, free time at one of Italy's most famous outlet areas.

ROME – FLORENCE After breakfast, we depart for Florence. Upon arrival, we begin our Florence city tour. Florence holds a unique place in the world's cultural heritage as the birthplace and cradle of the Renaissance. The city has witnessed great advancements in art, science, and philosophy. Under the patronage of the Medici family, great artists and thinkers such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Brunelleschi worked here. Florence, which is like an open-air art gallery, offers sights including the Arno River that divides the city in two, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge famous for its jewelers, Palazzo Vecchio, the Piazza Della Signoria Square that is home to the Hercules and David statues — masterpieces of the Renaissance — the Florence Cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo), which has the 3rd highest dome in Italy, and the Baptistery famous for its gates. In the evening, we return to our Florence hotel and have free time to relax.

After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Tuscany (Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa) tour ( 95€), organised by our guide. The first stop on our optional tour will be Pisa, an Italian city known for its historic character. Its best-known landmark is the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tower stands in Miracles Square. The square is also home to the white-marble Cathedral and Baptistery. Each structure reflects the artistic and architectural heritage of medieval Italy. After seeing the Leaning Tower of Pisa and nearby Miracles Square, we will depart for San Gimignano. In the medieval town of San Gimignano, we will first encounter its notable towers. The town once had 72 towers, but only 14 have survived to the present day. They were built by the wealthy families of the period to display their power and wealth. Cathedral Square, the town’s social and religious centre, is home to the Cathedral of San Gimignano, built in the 12th century. Inside the cathedral, you can see frescoes reflecting the spirit of medieval Italy. The Town Hall (People’s Palace) stands immediately beside it.

FLORENCE - VENICE After breakfast, we depart for Venice. Upon arrival at Tronchetto Square, we take a short vaporetto (water bus) ride to St. Mark's Square and begin a panoramic city tour. During the city tour, the sights to be seen include the famous St. Mark's Square and Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, where prisoners took one last look at Venice before entering the prison, the Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge over it, the Doge's Palace, the Bell Tower and Clock Tower, and the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore. After our city tour, an optional gondola ride (30 €), the symbol of Venice, organized as an extra by our guide. After the tour, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, return to the hotel and free time to relax.

VENICE - MILAN After breakfast, we depart for Milan. Upon arrival, we begin our panoramic city tour. Among the places to be seen on our tour are the Milan Duomo, Italy's 2nd largest church, which took approximately 500 years to complete, the Sforza Castle, and the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery, which is home to the world's most famous fashion stores. After the city tour, free time is given. Guests who wish may join the Lake Como (65€) tour, which our Guide will organise as an optional/extra. On this tour, we will see the world-famous Lake Como, nestled at the foot of the Alps. Como is a city located in Italy's Lombardy region, bordering Switzerland. The lake bearing the same name also lies between Switzerland and Italy. The lake, situated at the foot of the Alps on the Swiss side, is known as the summer retreat of celebrities and the jet set. The breathtaking scenery of the lake will leave you spellbound. After the tour, overnight stay at our hotel in Milan.

After breakfast, you will have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Lugano, Lake Garda and Outlet tour (95€), organised by our guide. Lake Garda, one of the most important lakes in northern Italy’s lake district, is famous for its natural beauty and thermal waters. Our second stop will be Lugano. Located in southern Switzerland at the foot of the Alps, the city combines the cultural characteristics of Switzerland and Italy. During our walk along the shore of Lake Lugano, you can enjoy views of the surrounding scenery. We will then have free time for shopping at the Outlet Centre, which features world-famous brands. After the tour, we will stay overnight at our hotel in Milan.

MILAN – BERGAMO - ISTANBUL After breakfast, check-out from the rooms and transfer to the airport at the time to be announced by your guide. Scheduled flight to Istanbul with AJET Airlines. Upon our arrival at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, our tour and services come to an end. We hope to meet again on another tour where we will have unforgettable experiences.
