The itinerary includes guided city tours of Strasbourg, Freiburg, and Basel, allowing you to experience their unique atmospheres and historic sites. Optional excursions provide opportunities to visit Heidelberg and Baden Baden in Germany, or to discover the impressive Rhine Falls along with Zurich and Lucerne in Switzerland. 01Istanbul - Basel - Strasbourg - Eguisheim - Colmar - Kaysersberg - Riquewihr - Strasbourg
Meet at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before your flight. After completing your luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Basel on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1923 at 07:30. Arriving in Basel at 09:40 local time, we will then head to Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the jewel of the Alsace region, with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. As you explore Strasbourg, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods. With its fairytale-like nature and historical architecture, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals, and numerous works of art, it is a place well worth seeing. Additionally, Strasbourg holds historical significance as the place where the French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was written, presenting a city where Alsace culture blends with French architecture.
02Strasbourg - Heidelberg - Baden Baden - Outlet Center - Strasbourg
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center) for an additional fee of 110 Euro. Our first stop on the tour is Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will transport you back to the Middle Ages at every corner. A tranquil, elegant, and refined city, Heidelberg welcomes you with the harmony of architecture and colors. During our city tour, we will visit Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After this, we will head to our second stop, Baden Baden, which is a nature-filled oxygen haven, a cultural arts center, known for its thermal baths, and even home to Europe's most famous casino. After exploring Baden Baden, we will have free time at the outlet center, where many famous brands are gathered. Following the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
03Strasbourg - Schaffhausen Rhine Falls - Zurich - Lucerne - Strasbourg
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour to the Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) for an additional cost of 130 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is the natural wonder, Rhine Falls, which holds the title of the largest waterfall in Europe with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres. This location, embraced by the powerful branches of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you can find peace while watching the dance of the azure waters. After a captivating walk with the power of the water and its impressive scenery, we will head to Zurich, Switzerland's largest city, which attracts millions of visitors each year with its historic center, dazzling Gothic-style churches, and historical buildings. After seeing the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, as well as St. Peterskirche, the largest clock tower in Europe, we will explore Bahnhofstrasse, the city's shopping hub. Following our tour, we will travel to Lucerne, a historic city located at the foot of the Alps in central Switzerland.
04Strasbourg - Freiburg - Basel - Istanbul
After breakfast, we will check out of the rooms and head to Freiburg. Freiburg, the fourth largest city in Germany, is a medieval town located near the Black Forest, enchanting visitors with its natural beauty. During our city tour here, we will visit the Münster Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture and the city's symbol, as well as the Markthalle (Indoor Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz, and Gerberau. After our tour, we will move on to Basel. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that houses both modern and historical textures, possessing many treasures despite its small area. During our city tour, we will visit the Basel Cathedral, where the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus of Rotterdam is buried, the main square Marktplatz, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After our tour, we will head to Basel Airport. Following baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1926 at 18:55. We will arrive at 23:05 local time, marking the end of our tour.
