Italy & French Riviera: 5-Night New Year Tour

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Marseille on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1365 at 09:05. Arriving at 10:30 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Marseille is a large and vibrant port city located on the Mediterranean coast in southern France. One of the oldest cities in the Mediterranean, Marseille has a rich history in terms of culture and maritime tourism and was named "European Capital of Culture" in 2013. Among the sights we will see upon our arrival are the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, the Old Port, and the Marseille Cathedral. After our tour, there will be free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra tour "The Hidden Paradise of Magnificent France (Aix En Provence)" for 55 Euro. Aix-en-Provence is a historic and elegant city located in the Provence region of southern France. Aix is famous for its wide streets and squares in the city center, historic buildings, and arts and culture events.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Nice, France. Known as the "Pearl of the French Riviera," Nice is one of the top attractions famous for its historical richness, stunning beaches, and vibrant atmosphere. In this blue paradise of the Mediterranean, our tour will include famous sites such as the iconic promenade La Promenade des Anglais, Old Nice and its narrow streets, Massena Square, the Flower Market, and Jean Medecin Boulevard. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel and enjoy some free time. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour of Magnificent Towns and Cities (Paul De Vence & Antibes & Cannes) for an extra cost of 80 Euro. Our first stop will be the town of Paul De Vence. Famous for its medieval streets, stone houses, and walls, this town is an important destination for art and culture enthusiasts, hosting numerous art galleries and studios. It is one of the favorite places of artists such as Picasso, Renoir, Yves Montand, and Simone Signoret, and it is also the final resting place of Marc Chagall. After our visit here, we will head to our next destination, the charming city of Antibes on the French Riviera. Antibes is a historic port city located in the southeast of France along the French Riviera, enchanting visitors with its historical texture and the beauty of the Mediterranean coastline. The city is renowned for its narrow streets dating back to the Middle Ages, its old port, and the famous Provence market. Additionally, the Grimaldi Castle, located right by the sea, currently houses a wonderful Picasso Museum. After our tour, we will proceed to our final stop, the festival city of Cannes.

After enjoying our included breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for our city tour of Genoa. Known for its name resembling a kneecap, this port city is located in the Liguria region and serves as the capital of the area. Genoa, which was selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2004, boasts a rich historical background. The city began to make a name for itself in the 5th century BC and is significant for being the capital of the Genoese state and the birthplace of the famous navigator Christopher Columbus. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including Piazza de Ferrari Square, San Lorenzo Cathedral, and the Torre Della Lanterna Tower. After our tour, we will head towards Milan. Milan, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, offers sights such as the magnificent Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle), one of the world's oldest shopping malls, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the stunning Duomo Cathedral, and La Scala, one of the largest theater buildings in the world. After our tour, we will transfer to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the Magnificent Lakes Tour (Como & Lugano) and Outlet Center tour (75 Euro). Our first stop is Como. This city, named after the famous Lake Como, is one of the unique attractions in the world, drawing visitors from all corners due to its stunning natural beauty. Como is also notable for its architectural wonders reflecting Gothic and Renaissance styles, as well as the homes of world-renowned personalities like Madonna and George Clooney. Following our tour, we will head to Lugano. Lake Lugano is a captivating lake located in southern Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps. This lake combines both the cultural and natural features of Switzerland and Italy. After exploring this city, known for its magnificent views and chic shopping streets, we will take a break to shop at the outlet featuring world-famous brands. After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Bologna. Bologna is a historic settlement located in the northern part of Italy, nestled among the Apennine Mountains, known for its cultural richness. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including Piazza Maggiore Square, San Petronio Basilica, Podesta Palace, and the Town Hall. Following our tour, we will head to Bologna Airport. After completing our luggage and ticket procedures, we will take Turkish Airlines flight TK 1326, departing at 19:35 for Istanbul. We will arrive at 23:55 local time, marking the end of our tour.
