7-Night Spain and Andalusia Tour from Istanbul

Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After handling luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Sevilla on Turkish Airlines flight TK1297 at 06:55. Arriving at 10:45 local time, our city tour of Sevilla begins. Sevilla is a city famous for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park, which includes Plaza de Espana, and Plaza America. We will also see the Sevilla Cathedral (from the outside), the third largest cathedral in the world, which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus, and the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque built on the site of the cathedral, which carries the memory of the Umayyad Caliphate of Andalusia. The Alcazar (from the outside), the palace of the Castilian kings, will also be among the sights.

Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Located in the northeast of Catalonia, approximately 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its narrow streets from the Middle Ages, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After our tour, we will head towards the town of Figueras. Figueres is located northeast of Girona and is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established this museum to leave something behind in his birthplace and showcase his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dali's works and is referred to as Dali's greatest masterpiece since he designed every aspect of it.

After our tour, we will continue to Ecija. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. Ecija is a historic city located in the southern part of Spain, in the Andalusia region, and is part of the province of Sevilla. Often referred to as the "Peacock of Andalusia" or the "City of Towers," Écija is known for its rich Baroque architecture and splendid historical buildings.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Cities (Cordoba & Mijas & Malaga) for an extra 140 Euro. Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain, famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures that bear the traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. We will reach Cordoba after a 1.5-hour journey, where we will first be greeted by the Guadalquivir River. We will walk over the historic Roman bridge and enter the city through the Roman gate. Entering the 2000-year-old city, we will witness the grandeur of the Great Mosque of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, which rises on 850 columns, while receiving insightful information from our guide. After our tour of the Cordoba Mosque, we will continue walking through the clean old streets, where we will see the old inn reflecting the intricacies of Andalusian architecture and the houses of Cordoba. Following our tour here, our second stop will be Mijas, a charming and traditional mountain village located in the Málaga province of the Andalusia region in southern Spain, famous for its whitewashed houses.
