01Istanbul - Madrid
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter at the international terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before departure. After handling luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Madrid at 07:00 on Pegasus Airlines flight TK 1857. Upon arrival at 10:30 local time, our city tour of Madrid begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is one of the most visited cities in the country, known for its rich history and cultural wealth. During our city tour, we will first see the Bullfighting Arena (from the outside), Alcala Gate, Independence Square, the Cybele Fountain, the famous Grand Via street, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the renowned Prado Museum (from the outside), the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza at Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace (from the outside), the 9-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square. After our tour, guests who wish can join the optional Grand Toledo Tour for an extra cost of 70 Euro.
02Madrid - Porto
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Porto. Upon arrival, our city tour of Porto will begin. Porto, the second largest city in the country, is famous for its unique architecture, colorful houses, and narrow streets. During our city tour, our first stop will be Boavista, known as a modern commercial and business center. Next, we will visit the Queijo Castle, located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. From here, we will progress towards the center of Porto along the riverbanks, passing through the Foz district, an old fishing village where the Douro River meets the ocean. Our route will start from Carmo Square. We will descend to Aliados Square, passing by the historic bookstore Lello and the Clerigos Church. We will see Bento Station, Sao Francisco Church, the Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, Liberdade Square, Batalha Square, the famous shopping street Santa Catarina, the Dom Luis Bridge, and the Arrabida Bridge among other sights. Our tour will conclude with the exploration of the Ribeira district, which is located along the Douro River and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
03Porto - Fatima - Lisbon
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Lisbon. Our first stop along the way is Fatima. This site, where the Virgin Mary appeared to three young shepherds in 1917 and revealed three secrets, is one of the largest pilgrimage and worship centers in Christianity. During our free time here, guests who wish can join our optional tour to Obidos & Nazare for an extra fee of 50 Euro. Our first destination on the tour is Obidos. When you arrive in Obidos, you will feel as if you have traveled back in time centuries. The residents of this small town still walk around in traditional clothing on certain days of the week, bringing history to life. During our pleasant walking tour of the city, the narrow streets, small churches, beautiful houses, and shops will leave a lasting impression. After our visit here, we will head to the fishing town of Nazare, surrounded by high cliffs, where we will see the Batalha Church, the only example of Portuguese Gothic art. Following our tour, we will proceed to Lisbon. Lisbon, the capital and largest city of Portugal, is one of the oldest capitals in Europe.
04Lisbon
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Lisbon Pearls (Sintra & Cascais & Estoril & Cabo de Roca) for an extra fee of 75 Euro. Sintra is a charming town located north of Lisbon, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is famous for its rich history and extraordinary nature. The most striking structure in Sintra is the Pena Palace, built in the 19th century. With its colorful and fairy-tale-like architecture, this palace has become a symbol of Sintra, visible from the hills of the city. After our tour here, we will set foot at Cabo de Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. We will progress along the ocean shores, first reaching the Guincho Cape and then arriving at the "Boca de Inferno" rock near Cascais. Next, we will head to Cascais, a charming holiday town located on the Atlantic Ocean coast. After exploring the fishing harbor in Cascais, we will visit the famous Estoril district, historically one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations in the early 20th century, especially favored by royal families and wealthy tourists. One of the most famous places in the city is the large casino, Estoril Casino.
05Lisbon - Seville
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Sevilla. Sevilla is a city renowned for its historical and cultural wealth, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour in Sevilla, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park, which includes Plaza de España, and Plaza America. We will also see the Sevilla Cathedral (from the outside), the third largest cathedral in the world, which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Right next to the cathedral is the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, commemorating the Andalusian Umayyad State. The tour will also include the Alcazar (from the outside), the palace of the Castilian kings. Next, we will pass through the Archives of the Indies, where records of all maritime expeditions to the Americas were kept until the 19th century, and reach the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Sevilla. At the end of our walk, we will see Torre del Oro, or the Golden Tower, which was an old tobacco factory and is now a maritime museum, serving as the central campus of the University of Sevilla. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Sevilla.
06Seville - Cordoba & Granada & Al Hambra & Seville
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Cordoba & Granada & Al Hambra tour, organized at an extra cost. (120 Euro) The first stop on our tour is Cordoba. Cordoba is a historic city in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural riches, impressive architecture and structures bearing the traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. Cordoba is one of Spain's oldest and most beautiful cities. After a 1.5-hour journey to Cordoba, the Guadalquivir River will be the first sight to welcome us. We will walk across the historic Roman Bridge and enter the city through the Roman Gate. We will enter the Great Mosque of Cordoba, the most magnificent structure in this 2000-year-old city, one of the largest mosques in the world and supported by 850 columns. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this magnificent work and learn fascinating information about it. After our tour of the Mosque of Cordoba, we will continue on foot and see the immaculate old streets, the old inn reflecting all the elegance of Andalusian architecture, and the houses of Cordoba. After our tour, departure for Granada.
07Sevilla - Ronda - Marbella - Malaga - Sevilla
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Granada. Along the way, guests who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Cities and Towns of Ronda & Marbella & Malaga for an extra fee of 70 Euro. Ronda is a famous mountain town located in the Andalusia region of Spain, known for its historical and natural beauty. The city is particularly recognized for its deep gorge and the historic bridge, Puente Nuevo, which spans it. This bridge, built in the 18th century, has become a symbol of Ronda and divides the city over the El Tajo Canyon. Ronda also features a historic bullfighting arena, considered one of the oldest bullfighting arenas in the world. Our second stop on the tour will be Marbella. Located in the Andalusia region of southern Spain on the Costa del Sol, this city is known for its luxury lifestyle and is home to the jet set. During our tour, we will visit the central area of Casco Antiguo, the Puerto Banus marina, and luxury shops. Our final stop will be Malaga, a city rich in historical and cultural heritage, also located on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain.
08Sevilla - Istanbul
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time to relax and explore. Later, you will be transferred to the airport at the time determined by our guide. Departing for Sevilla Airport, you will complete your baggage, ticket, and passport procedures. At 18:40, you will board Turkish Airlines flight TK 1306 to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen. You will arrive at 23:55 local time, marking the end of our tour.
