This eight-day, seven-night journey departs from Istanbul and explores some of Italy's most iconic cities and regions. Traveling by Turkish Airlines, the tour begins in Milan and continues through Verona, Venice, Bologna, Florence, Rome, and Naples, offering a rich blend of historical sites, cultural experiences, and scenic views. Ideal for travelers who enjoy a mix of city tours and cultural immersion, this itinerary includes guided visits to renowned landmarks such as the romantic setting of Verona, the canals of Venice, and the artistic heritage of Florence. Highlights include panoramic city tours in each destination and the opportunity to explore the architectural beauty and historical significance of Italy's northern and central regions. The trip also offers optional excursions to Tuscany's charming towns, the Vatican and nearby villages, and the coastal allure of Sorrento. Accommodations are arranged in three- and four-star hotels outside city centers, with daily breakfast included. 01Istanbul - Milan
Meeting at the Turkish Airlines check-in desk in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before the flight. After handling luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Milan on Turkish Airlines flight TK1873 at 08:15. Upon arrival at 09:05 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. In Milan, famous for its rich blend of historical and modern sights, we will visit the Duomo Cathedral, one of the largest and most magnificent Gothic cathedrals in the world, La Scala, one of the oldest opera houses in the world, the stunning 19th-century arched shopping gallery Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and the magnificent architecture of Castello Sforzesco (Milan Castle). After the tour, guests who wish can join the Magnificent Lakes (Como & Lugano) Tour (75 Euro). Our first stop on this tour is Como. Named after the lake that is synonymous with the city, Como is one of the unique natural attractions that receives visitors from all over the world.
02Milan - Verona - Venice
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we set off towards Venice. Along the way, we participate in the Magnificent Verona Tour (the Verona tour is included in the tour price). Verona is a historic city located in northern Italy, on the banks of the Adige River, boasting a rich cultural heritage since Roman times. The city, which evokes feelings of history, architecture, and literature, is known for Shakespeare's famous work "Romeo and Juliet," attracting visitors with the building known as Juliet's House and its balcony. Among Verona's impressive structures with Medieval architecture, the 1st-century amphitheater Arena di Verona stands out as a magnificent Roman structure and still hosts important concerts. Additionally, the city's narrow stone streets and vibrant squares like Piazza delle Erbe and Piazza Bra reflect its rich history and cultural diversity. After our tour, we continue our journey to Venice. A historic fairy tale city dancing on water, Venice enchants its visitors with its romance and mystery, wrapped in a labyrinth of canals and gondolas. 03Venice - Bologna - Florence
After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Florence. On the way, we will have our Magnificent Bologna tour. (The Bologna tour is included in the tour price.) Bologna is a historic settlement located in the region nestled between the Apennine Mountains in northern Italy, known for its cultural richness. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites such as Piazza Maggiore Square, San Petronio Basilica, Podesta Palace, and the Town Hall. After our tour, we will continue our journey to Florence. Upon our arrival in Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, our panoramic city tour will begin. In this cultural, artistic, and architectural gem of Florence, our city tour will include the Duomo Church (Santa Maria Del Fiore), the Baptistery, the Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel and enjoy some free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Montecatini.
04Florence - Pisa & Siena & San Gimignano - Florence
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional Extra Magnificent Tuscan Towns Tour (Pisa & Siena & San Gimignano) for 110 Euro. Our first stop will be the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa, famous for its tilted structure. After capturing stunning photos here, we will proceed to the city of Siena, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its narrow streets and stone buildings that carry the magic of the Middle Ages, Siena offers visitors a journey back in time, serving as an elegant fortress in the heart of traditional Italian city life with its historic Piazza del Campo and impressive cathedral. The final stop of our tour will be San Gimignano. Known for its stone towers that rise like a fairy tale from the Middle Ages in the heart of Tuscany, this town is referred to as the "Manhattan of the Middle Ages." Recognized for its 14 tall towers, it reflects the wealth and prestige struggles of city-states in the 14th century. With its narrow, labyrinthine streets and historic buildings, it vividly brings the traces of the past to life.
05Florence - Rome
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Rome, the largest city and capital of the country. This city, which has been the center of one of the greatest civilizations in history, has served as a hub of power, culture, and religion for approximately 2500 years. The historic center of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rome boasts a rich historical heritage and a cosmopolitan atmosphere, featuring magnificent palaces, thousand-year-old churches and basilicas, splendid romantic ruins, grand monuments, ornate sculptures, and elegant fountains. Highlights of our visit will include the Vatican (St. Peter's Basilica), the Colosseum where gladiator battles were held, the Roman Forum which was once the center of religious, political, and social activities, the Vittoriano Monument, the famous Trevi Fountain (Fontana di Trevi), and the Spanish Steps (Piazza di Spagna). After the tour, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
06Rome - Castel Gondolfo & Nemi & Vatican - Rome
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish to can join the optional Excursion to Castel Gondolfo & Nemi & Outlet & Vatican (85 Euro). Our first stop will be Castel Gondolfo, known as the summer residence of the Popes. This historic palace and its surroundings are famous for their stunning views and beautiful gardens. Next, we will head to Nemi Village. Nestled around Lake Nemi, which was formed in a volcanic crater, this village is also known as the strawberry village due to the region's renowned fresh and delicious strawberries. The village attracts both tourists and nature lovers with its historical ruins, narrow stone streets, and picturesque lake views. You will have free time to explore the village and shop during this period. After our tour, we will proceed to Italy's most famous outlet area, where you will have free time to shop at attractive prices. Following this, we will head to the famous St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, considered the center of Christianity. Upon arrival, you will have free time to visit the basilica and the square. As you stroll around the square, the obelisk in the center and the surrounding columns will truly captivate you.
07Rome - NAPOLI
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Naples. This vibrant port city in southern Italy is rich in historical and cultural treasures, set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Vesuvius along the Mediterranean coast. With its lively markets, traditional pizza, and impressive historical ruins, Naples has a unique character all its own. After our tour, guests who wish to can join the optional Grand Pompeii Tour for an additional fee of 70 Euro. You will embark on a deep journey into Ancient Rome at this archaeological site, where the remarkably well-preserved remains of homes and daily life can be explored, all of which were buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 BC and uncovered thousands of years later. Following this, we will transfer back to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
08Naples - Istanbul
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time until the time set by our guide. Guests who wish can join the optional tour to the Magnificent Town of Sorrento for an extra fee of 50 Euro. Sorrento is a charming coastal town located in southern Italy, on the shores of the Gulf of Naples. Known as the gateway to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is famous for its stunning sea views, historical buildings, and lemon groves. Its narrow stone streets, traditional Italian architecture, and small boutique shops make it an attractive destination for visitors. We highly recommend not missing this tour. After our tour, we will transfer to Naples Airport. Following luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Istanbul at 19:25 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1880. Arrival is at 23:50 local time, marking the end of our tour.
