Spain Tour from Izmir

Meeting at the SunExpress Airlines check-in desk in the International Departures terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. After luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we depart for Barcelona on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ894 at 11:35. Arriving at 13:15 local time, we will continue to Valencia with our vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Upon arrival, our city tour begins. Valencia is a historical and modern city located on Spain's eastern coast, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. As Spain's third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. During our city tour, we will see the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Arena, Arts and Sciences Museum, Historic Market Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we will set off towards Granada. Granada is a city rich in history and culture, located in the heart of the Andalusia region. It is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain's leading tourist destinations, welcoming millions of visitors each year. During our city tour, we will see Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Squares, Granada Cathedral (from the outside), the first university of Granada, Madraza, the Silk Bazaar, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After our tour, guests who wish can join the optional Magnificent Alhambra Palace Tour (80 Euro). Please note that there is a daily visitor limit for the Alhambra Palace, and our visit may take place depending on availability, excluding the harem. The Alhambra Palace, one of Granada's greatest treasures, is one of the most dazzling and impressive examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture.

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Sevilla. Upon our arrival, our city tour will begin. Sevilla is a city renowned for its historical and cultural richness, located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour along the banks of the Guadalquivir River, we will first visit Maria Luisa Park, which includes Plaza de España, and Plaza America. We will also see the Sevilla Cathedral (from the outside), the third largest cathedral in the world, which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus. Next to the cathedral stands the Giralda Minaret, the last remaining part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, preserving the memory of the Andalusian Umayyad State. We will also view the Alcazar (from the outside), the palace of the Castilian kings. Afterward, we will pass through the Archives of the Indies, which holds records of all maritime expeditions to the Americas until the 19th century, and reach the narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, known as "old" Sevilla.

Cordoba is a historic city located in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures reflecting the traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. After a 1.5-hour journey, we will be welcomed by the Guadalquivir River in Cordoba. We will walk over the historic Roman bridge and enter the city through the Roman gate. As we enter this 2000-year-old city, we will visit the magnificent Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, one of the largest mosques in the world, which rises on 850 columns. Accompanied by our guide, we will witness the grandeur of this remarkable structure and receive fascinating information. After our tour of the Mosque-Cathedral, we will continue our walk through the pristine old streets, where we will see the traditional inn reflecting all the intricacies of Andalusian architecture and the houses of Cordoba.

Located approximately 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a historic city protected by UNESCO, having hosted various cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, including Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is renowned for its stunning medieval architecture and cultural heritage. During our tour of this open-air museum, we will explore the historic narrow streets and see many wonders, including the Toledo Cathedral (from the outside), which is the oldest cathedral in Spain, as well as churches converted from Andalusian mosques. After our tour, we will continue to Madrid. Upon arrival, our city tour will begin. As the capital of Spain, Madrid is one of the most visited cities, rich in history and cultural wealth.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Barcelona. Upon our arrival, our city tour will begin. Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain and the vibrant capital of the Catalonia region, is renowned worldwide. Bathed in the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its stunning architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors each year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudi. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including the La Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, La Ramblas Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Andalusian Arena, and the Olympic Port. After the tour, guests who wish to can join the optional Magnificent Poble Espanyol & Montjuic Hill tour for an extra fee of 30 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is Girona. Located in northeastern Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and walls. During our tour here, we will visit the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call). After the tour, we will head to the town of Figueras. Figueres, located northeast of Girona, is known as the birthplace of Salvador Dali. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dali. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dali Museum. Dali established this museum to leave something behind in his birthplace and to showcase his works. Today, this museum holds the largest collection of Dali's works and is considered Dali's greatest masterpiece since he designed every aspect of it. The museum features over 4000 works created by Dali using various techniques.

After enjoying our breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for the airport at a time determined by the guide. Following the luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will board SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 895, departing at 14:15 for Izmir. We will arrive in Izmir at 19:25 local time, marking the end of our tour.
