Dream Triangle Switzerland, France and Germany Tour

We meet in front of the Türk Hava Yolları counter at the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport 3 hours before our flight. After completing baggage, ticket and passport formalities, we depart for Basel at 07.40 on Türk Hava Yolları flight TK 1923. Following our arrival in Basel at 09.45 local time, we take the vehicle waiting at the airport to Strasbourg in France's Alsace region. Strasbourg is known for its cobbled medieval neighbourhoods, among the largest in Europe, as well as its wooden houses, historic churches, cathedrals and works of art. Known for its natural surroundings and historic buildings, the city is where the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, was written. On our city tour of Strasbourg, where Alsace culture meets French architecture, we will see Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square and the Petit France district with its traditional Alsace houses. After the city tour, guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) tour at an extra charge. (110 Euro) The first stop on the tour will be Egusheim.

After breakfast at the hotel, there will be free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Germany Duo (Baden Baden & Heidelberg) tour at an extra cost. (110 Euro) The first stop on the tour will be Baden Baden. Known for its natural surroundings, cultural and arts venues, thermal springs and one of Europe's best-known casinos, the city has inspired many famous writers and composers. After visiting Baden Baden, we will depart for Heidelberg. Traces of the Middle Ages can be seen in Heidelberg's streets, squares and buildings. The city is known for its peaceful atmosphere and the harmonious colours of its architecture. Sights on the city tour include Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, we will transfer to the hotel. Overnight accommodation will be at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, there is free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour at an extra cost. (130 Euro) The first stop is the Rhine Falls, which holds the title of Europe's largest waterfall, with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres. We take a walk here, enjoying the scenery created by the waters of the Rhine River. We then continue to stop 2, Zurich. Switzerland's largest city, Zurich welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic centre, Gothic churches and historic buildings. We see Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, along with St. Peterskirche Church, which has Europe's largest clock tower. We then explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city's shopping centre. After our visit to Zurich, we travel to the historic city of Lucerne in central Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps. Here we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who lost their lives protecting King Louis 16 and his family, as well as Chapel Bridge and views of Lake Lucerne. At the end of the tour, we transfer to the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Freiburg. Germany's fourth-largest city, Freiburg is located near the Black Forest and is known for its natural beauty and medieval heritage. The city tour includes sights such as Münster Cathedral, a symbol of the city with Gothic architecture, Markthalle (Covered Market), Münsterplatz (Main Square), Rathausplatz, Kaiser Joseph Street, Augustiner Platz, Adelhauser Platz and Gerberau. After the tour, depart for Basel and begin a city tour upon arrival. Switzerland's third most populous city after Zurich and Geneva, Basel brings together historic and modern buildings despite its small area. Sights on the city tour include Basel Cathedral, which houses the tomb of the Dutch Renaissance writer Erasmus, the city's main square Marktplatz, the Government Building and Hotel Les Trois Roi. After the tour, depart for Basel Airport. Once baggage, ticket and passport formalities are complete, depart for Istanbul at 19.10 on Türk Hava Yolları flight TK1926. The tour ends upon arrival at 23.15 local time.
