Dream Triangle Germany, France and Switzerland Tour

We meet at the SunExpress Airlines counter in the International Departures Terminal at Ankara Esenboğa Airport 3 hours before departure. After completing baggage, ticket and passport procedures, we depart for Frankfurt at 07.00 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ792. We arrive in Frankfurt at 08.50 local time and set off for Strasbourg in the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Located in the Alsace region of France, Strasbourg is home to one of Europe's largest medieval neighbourhoods with cobblestone streets. The city is known for its natural surroundings, historic buildings, wooden houses, medieval churches, cathedrals and works of art. Strasbourg, where the French national anthem La Marseillaise was written, brings together Alsace culture and French architecture. On our city tour, we see Strasbourg Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kleber Square and the Petit France district, with its traditional Alsace houses. After the tour, we head to our hotel. We stay overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Fairy-Tale Villages of Alsace tour (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr), offered at an extra charge. (110 Euro) There will be opportunities to take photographs throughout the tour. Our first stop is Egusheim, which was named France's Favourite Village in 2013. The village is known for its historic buildings and natural surroundings. Colourful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region shape the appearance of Equesheim. After this visit, we head to Colmar, known for its medieval buildings, Gothic churches and colourful houses. During our walk through its well-preserved streets, sights will include St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely of pink stone; Little Venice, whose small canals recall Venice in Italy; Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses; and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building known for the faces decorating its facade. The third stop on our tour is Kaysersberg. Located in the Alsace region of France, Kayserberg is a medieval town. It is known for its colourful houses, narrow streets and historic buildings.

After breakfast at the hotel, you have free time. Guests who wish may join the optional Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) tour at an extra charge. (130 Euro) The tour’s first stop is the Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, measuring 150 metres wide and 23 metres high. We walk around the waterfall on this section of the Rhine River to take in the views. We then head to stop number 2, Zurich, Switzerland’s largest city. With its historic centre, Gothic churches and historic buildings, the city welcomes millions of visitors each year. After seeing Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches and St. Peterskirche Church, which has Europe’s largest clock tower, we explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the city’s shopping centre. We then continue to the historic city of Lucerne in central Switzerland, at the foot of the Alps. Here we see the Lion Monument, built in memory of the 800 Swiss soldiers who died protecting King Louis 16 and his family, the Chapel Bridge and the views of Lake Lucerne. At the end of the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel in Strasbourg or the surrounding area.

After breakfast, we check out of our rooms and depart for Stuttgart. Located among green hills in southwestern Germany, Stuttgart is known for its industry as well as its parks, vineyards and cultural life. Our city tour includes sights such as Schlossplatz (Palace Square), Stuttgart's largest square, Neues Schloss (New Palace), Altes Schloss (Old Castle) and Johanneskirche (St. John's Church). After the tour, we leave for the airport at the time specified by our guide. After completing baggage, ticket and passport formalities, we depart for Ankara at 19.30 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ791. Our tour ends upon arrival at 00.40 local time.
