Alsace Christmas Markets Tour

Meeting at the SunExpress Airlines check-in counter in the international departures terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport 3 hours before the flight. After completing luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will depart for Basel on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 912 at 12:10. Arriving in Basel at 13:25 local time, our city tour begins with a vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Basel, the third most populous city in Switzerland after Zurich and Geneva, is a magnificent city that houses both modern and historical textures, possessing many treasures despite its small area. During our city tour, we will visit notable sites including Basel Cathedral, the burial place of the famous Renaissance writer Erasmus, the main square Marktplatz, the Government Building, and Hotel Les Trois Rois. After our tour, we will head to Strasbourg. While exploring Strasbourg, one of the most beautiful cities in France and the pearl of the Alsace region, you will feel as if you are traveling through history in Europe's largest cobblestone medieval neighborhoods.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our guests have the option to join the extra tour to the Magnificent Fairy Tale Villages of Alsace (Eguisheim & Colmar & Kaysersberg & Riquewihr) for 110 Euro. Throughout the tour, we will seize every opportunity to take photos, starting with our first visit to Eguisheim. Awarded the title of "Favorite French Village" in 2013, Eguisheim is a village where history and nature dance together. The colorful houses reflecting the typical architecture of the Alsace region create the postcard-perfect view of Eguisheim. Following our tour, we will head to Colmar, famous for its historical buildings from the Middle Ages, Gothic-style churches, and vibrant houses. As we stroll through the well-preserved streets of Colmar, we will see the St. Martin Cathedral, built entirely of pink stones, the Little Venice area reminiscent of Italy's Venice with its small canals, Maison Pfister, one of Colmar's oldest houses, and Maison des Tetes, a Renaissance building adorned with faces. Our third stop will be Kaysersberg. Kaysersberg is a charming part of the Alsace region, known for its colorful houses, narrow streets, and historical texture as a medieval town.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time. Guests who wish can join the optional tour of the Magnificent Germany Duo (Heidelberg & Baden Baden & Outlet Center) for an additional cost of 110 Euro. Our first stop will be Heidelberg. The streets, squares, and buildings of this city will transport you back to the Middle Ages. A tranquil, elegant, and refined city, Heidelberg welcomes you with the harmony of its architecture and colors. During our city tour, we will visit Hauptstrasse, Marktplatz Square, the Old Bridge, and Heidelberg Castle. After the tour, we will head to our second stop, Baden Baden, a natural paradise filled with oxygen, a cultural and arts center, thermal baths, and even Europe's most famous casino. After exploring Baden Baden, we will give you free time at the outlet center, where many well-known brands are gathered. After the tour, we will transfer you back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will have free time. Guests who wish can join the optional extra tour to the Magnificent Schaffhausen Rhine Falls and Swiss Cities (Rhine Falls & Zurich & Lucerne) for 130 Euro. Our first stop on this tour is the natural wonder of Rhine Falls, which holds the title of the largest waterfall in Europe with a width of 150 metres and a height of 23 metres. This place, embraced by the powerful arms of the Rhine River, is a paradise where you can find tranquility while watching the dance of the deep blue waters. After an enchanting walk with the power of the water and its impressive scenery, we will head to our second stop, Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, which welcomes millions of visitors each year with its historic center, dazzling Gothic-style churches, and historic buildings. After visiting the Grossmünster and Fraumünster Churches, as well as St. Peterskirche, which has the largest clock tower in Europe, we will explore Bahnhofstrasse, considered the shopping center of the city. Following our tour, we will travel to Lucerne, a historic city located at the foot of the Alps in central Switzerland.

After breakfast, check out of the rooms and depart for Stuttgart Airport as indicated by our guide. After completing luggage, ticket, and passport procedures, we will board SunExpress Airlines flight XQ 973, departing at 14:05 for Izmir. Arrival is at 18:55 local time, marking the end of our tour.
